When Alaric heard that this creature was one of the dragon's descendants, his heart went into a panic.

He had never seen one of the dragon's descendants himself, but he heard stories from Burt, and they were terrifying.

Flames appeared in Alaric's hands, and the rest of the group could feel his hostility, so they joined in. Ethan readied his hands, Sarah raised a couple of sand golems, and Barry aimed a few floating icicles at the creature.

The descendant raised its hands, "what do you think you are doing? You burst into my home and start attacking me?! You treat me like I'm the hostile one!"

Alaric didn't drop his guard but kept his hands raised in an 'attack' position.

"Sorry, but we've heard about the descendants. We know that the monster king, Inian, went and killed them all."
