章 2: Chapter 2
Manuel's mother got him a canvass and everything he needed for his painting, without his fathers knowledge. She had to Save secretly for it when it became obvious that her couldn't live without painting.
Manuel would go on a trance and cut his own hands. His mother had caught him painting on the floor with his blood on a Saturday morning when she wanted to take out his dirty Clothes. He looked like he was being possessed by a demon.
"Hi baby." Lucy smiled pecking Manuel on the cheek. She held his face pressed in her palms. "You look better now." She had complemented him two days after she had bought him his new canvass. He had gained weight after then and his grey eyes shone lighter.
"I am better." Manuel replied hugging his mother tight. His thin frame was a contrast to him mums Rather thick frame. Even if his mum wasn't as slim as he was, she was still very strong and agile. He looked like her, the same Eye colour brown hair and thin lips. He however got his dimples and his pale white skin from His father. His mother was a little more on the tan side.
"I'm glad you are better. What do you want for dinner Love." She asked staring at the door, she was tensed.
She was on a look out for her husband who she didn't want finding her in Manuel's room. He had told her he was hungry and needed his food immediately.
But she decided to disobey his orders to check on Manuel first. So now she was scared.
When she got no reply from Manuel she turned around to look at him. He was already transfixed, his grey eyes were almost black, his pupils dilated. He looked like he was in a trance.
He was in a trance.
