章 20: Kiss
After hugging for a few seconds we both got down from the tree. He let me come down first then he joined me immediately as if he was scared that I would disappear.
I didn't blame him though. I knew that he had a reason to be scared. If I was in his position I would be scared too.
When we were safe on the ground he pulled me to him again and hugged me so tight, so tight I almost became a part of him. " I was afraid. I was so scared. I thought that I would loose you too. I thought that I won't be able to save you just like I wasn't able to save her, my mother. It hurt, it hurt so much to even imagine." he whispered, sobbing on my neck.
I cried too, I cried more even.
For the first time in a long time, I felt true peace even when I was still alive.
Breathing never felt so good until now.
"You have been stalking me right?" I asked suddenly, chuckling. This time the chuckle was real.
"Yes. I have for a while now. You enchant me." he answered still pressing me to his rock hard chest.
I felt him smile.
I giggled.
"Enchanted huh? So when are you going to stop stalking me then. Do I have to call a witch to disenchant you from me or do I do it myself?" I asked.
He pulled me away from him and held my cheeks in a cute way. Looking into my eyes he said, "I will never leave you, I will be with you for eternity and a thousand years more." He drawled. "Never will I be disenchanted from you. No force can do it_"
"You know I want so much to see a day when your smile will be so real and your frown fake. So much to see a day when you finally forget who you think you are, who your demons tell you you are? and then remember who God made you be and what defines you. I want so much to see the day you realize just how Special you are."
"I still don't think you can completely? save me, you can't achieve that goal, it is impossible." I argued.
My face pressed on his palm and he caressed my chin lovingly with His thumb.
"Then Let me die trying. I'll pick up the broken pieces even if it cuts me, even if I end up bleeding to death from it. I'll not stop till I piece in every broken part of you until you become whole again." He promised.
"I still do think that something has to encourage me to want to live, something I never had before, something I still have to discover to remain strong. I need a new feeling, I need a new direction or I might just be better of dead." I said thoughtfully.
"Then Live for hope Lora, live for your beliefs, for your family, for your friends and for me. Live because you have so much to give the world and so much to live for. Live because you are awesome and the world needs you."
"Live because you know that you will be great, because you are going to conquer. You will achieve so much even beyond the sky, this I promise you. I will be your guide all through your journey. Your guide through and through." He whispered
He said the last part slowly, sensuously and seductively.
Then he came a few inches closer so that our lips were almost touching. I yearned to taste him
"Then I'll live to achieve. I'll raise my soul up and inflame it with the fires of passion." I whispered.
I became transfixed.
He already destroyed my ability to think with his closeness. I crashed my lips into his and he kissed me back, passionately, so passionately pulling me closer to him so that we were almost one body.
I closed my eyes, savoring the flavor of his lips, drinking in him until I became drunk.
