章 459: Being the best wife and mother

Lu Shaoting held her hand and led her out of the restaurant. 

As usual, he opened the car door for her, cautiously helped her onto the car seat and sat beside her, holding her. He contemplated for a while before fastening the seat belt for her. 

Then he asked the chauffeur to drive off. 

Su Ling watched his actions silently.

Ever since she got pregnant, Lu Shaoting had become overly cautious. 

She had wanted to remind him before that she was only a few weeks pregnant. Besides, she was already careful enough and nothing could possibly happen to their baby. But looking at how he put his heart in making her comfortable, and how happy he was to do it, she couldn't bring herself to break his heart by rejecting it. 

She could only let him care for her with a warm heart. After the baby was born, she would make sure to be the best mother. But before that, she would be the best wife to him. He deserved the best of her.
