章 36: Busted
"Luna you can go upstairs and take a shower, you should also rest, it's been a long day!" Luna nods her head as she walks towards the stairs and into the guest room that was prepared for her. Skye looks around the living room and felt the house was quite, it was as if nobody was home.
He asked curiously" where is everyone? Is nobody home? " Kylie looks at her brother who was holding milo on his arms as she smiled mischievously" they're home but Dad is in Germany and brother... Well"
Seeing his sister looking at the door that leads to the kitchen, Skye also smiled. Kylie held her brother's hand and dragged him towards the kitchen. When they were close to the thick door, she puts her index finger on her lips and made a 'shhh' sound. They were in stealth mode now and they look like amateur thiefs. she opened the door slowly, the excited milo escaped from skye's arms and hops on Kylie's back then he made his way to her head as he watched what was happening.
Inside the kitchen was their mother teaching her eldest son how to cook as she said "You need to learn how to cook like a master. You should learn it because one day you will get married and your wife will get pregnant so if you learn how to cook, you will prepare delicious food for her!"
Liam looks at his mother with puppy dog eyes as he cried silently with no tears. If his employees see him now, they will surely faint. Liam is known to be cold and aloof and some even named him 'The ice emperor' or' the Business emperor'. Liam is a genius is the business world, after he became the Ceo of one of his dad's company, he took it to new heights in months. But if they see their cold president break into tiny pieces under his mother like this, they will surely pinch themselves because it sounds like a dream.
Kylie and skye held their mouths tightly with their hands as they tried to suppress the urge to laugh.
Liam is always soft towards his family but now he was miserable. Cooking was like a torture to him, he felt that cooking is harder than being a Ceo, he was tortured. Between him and his brother, his brother is the talented one when it comes to cooking.
"Mom, I don't see the point in learning how to cook. I won't get married because I don't have any interest in women so it's pointless!" hearing him, their mother suddenly turns to her son. She pinched his ear gently as she said "You're not interested in women, huh? You little brat. You and your brother are both the same, are you gays?!"
Liam was dramatic when his mother pinched his ear but hearing her call him gay, he suddenly smiled "Mom... I don't know about skye but I am definitely gay!"
His mother rolled her eyes at him,she's his mother so she can read him like a book.
Liam Continued dicing the onions, he felt like crying. They have chefs but he has to cook, life is not fair. He concentrated on dicing when he thought of something; He then 'accidentally' cut his finger. Blood started oozing out as he showed his mother his finger with a 'fake' pained expression.
When their mother turned around, she saw her son looking at her with a pained expression as he showed her his finger, she said apologetically "I'm so sorry honey. I asked you to learn how to cook even when you didn't want to! Let me go and call Robert to bring me the first aid kit"
Seeing his mother's worried face, Liam suddenly felt guilty. He did it on purpose and now she's apologising for something that's wasn't even her fault.
"It's okay mom, I will do it myself. Don't worry" he felt guilty but there's no backing out. What kind of a criminal would he be if he go back to the jail that he just escaped.
He walks towards the door and when he was almost close to the door he heard his mother " Nice try honey. I know you did it on purpose!"
He flinched when he heard her say that. He turns around and saw his mother leaning against the marble counter with her arms crossed across her chest.
"How d-did you know?"
"I'm your mother honey and besides... Your not the only actor in the family" his mother flashed him a teasing smile. Liam said with a guilty face "Sorry mom!"
"It's okay, I won't force you anymore and... Kylie you can come in!"
Kylie froze, she was busted,she came in the kitchen with milo in her arms. Liam turns around and looks at the door only to see his sister with... Milo
Their mother was shocked then she became happy. If milo was here then skye is back! Skye came in the kitchen too because they're both busted so why hide. His mother walks to him and hugged him lovingly as she said "Welcome home honey!"
"Thanks mom" when his mother pulled away from the hug, Liam also hugged him with a smile. "Welcome home lil bro!"
"Thanks brother"
"Mom skye is back so now he can be your student." Liam said as he slips away before his mother changed her mind. He went to his study room because he has a video conference in a few minutes.
His mother laughed at her son together with skye and Kylie. she turned her attention to milo and hugged the cute little creature. Milo rubbed his paw on her nose and their mom giggled.
She was going to make a strawberry smoothie so when milo saw the strawberries, he smiled.
Their mother was shocked, she feels like he is a human instead of a panther. She dropped him down on the counter and picked up a strawberry and held it close to milo's mouth. He opened his mouth and eat the whole thing as he said "Yummy!"
