章 36: Past is not dead yet
Ramon look at Samantha, on her left stood Zach and on her right was Ethan, he pulled her beside him frowning and before the two other men can react he spoke "The party's about to end. Let's go. I will send you home"
The moment he finished speaking a loud clamour of heartbreaks echoed in the hall, excluding him all of them resembled the child whose candy had been confiscated, showing a crestfallen expression on their faces.
They peeked at Samantha all at once, she on the other hand glanced at Zach then back at Ramon, she opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out....
Each of them had there own motives, and they wanted to seize the golden chance of sending her home but
Tang and Cannon merely wished to ride in her limited edition Buggati Chiron
Ethan on the other hand wanted to win the princess's heart but before he took action, the supporting actor popped out of nowhere to snatch his role.
His assistant shared the same thoughts as his boss
As for the left ones, Zach and Sam both wished to have a heart to heart talk with each other
Amidst of their sorrows, Ramon spoke again "Thanks for having us. Good night" short and polite fairwell as expected of the gentlemanly Ramon
Following the suit, Samantha also bade her farewell half-heartedly and then left together with Ramon

As the car moved forward steadily, Samantha leaned on the window watching the passing scenery calmly. She remembered a popular saying that 'past is dead. Let it go don't hold into it' She smiled bitterly muttering inside "but what if the past is holding onto you refusing to let go or what if the past is still not dead yet...." her thoughts are interrupted by an extremely gentle voice
"Mia?"
She looked up at Ramon who was driving the car "Huh?"
"Are you friends with them?"
"Not exactly" she shook her head "Cannon and I went to the same university so we are on good terms" she then took deep breath, carefully choosing her words she added "As for the rest....I was Ethan's doctor when he was confined in south side, so we kinda know each other" she purposely hid the fact that because of Ethan's insistence she worked as his nurse
"Oh..." he nodded his head in understanding "Bella mentioned yesterday that you haven't been home for quite some time. Do you want me to drop you there?" he asked carefully
Samantha felt perplexed for a moment, she didn't want to go but she couldn't possibly say no to his suggestion so in the end she gave him a nod.
Not too long after they reached the Styller's family mansion.
Samantha glanced at the huge castle like villa, that she was so familiar with, yet unfamiliar at the same time. She lowered her head, then walked inside with Ramon.
James who was in the living room busy with something, saw them entering the house, he frowned a little his eyes turning dark, he then walked towards them before stopping in front of her "Where were you? It's so late"
"At the Go's" before she could reply, Ramon spoke, as he thought that Ramon being the protective big brother was going to scold his little sister "I was there so I'm sending her home"
James nodded his head at him "Thanks, come over sit" peeking at Samantha he asked again "You are aquainted with the Go's"
"Yes" she nodded her head, James eyes stayed at her face a little longer before he turned towards Ramon "Drink?" he asked
To which Ramon replied "Nope I'm full"
"I'll go rest now. Thanks for today Ramon, good night" expressing her gratitude, she turned to walk towards the staircase
"Good night Mia" James spoke from behind.
Samantha walked away as if she hadn't heard anything
Upon reaching her room she hurriedly changed in her PJ's. After washing up, she grabbed her phone and then walked out of her room into the one across her, she locked the door behind her, then she quietly slipped inside the quielt before drifting in to her Dreamland.
