章 43: He Wished He Was Marrying Natasha at That Moment.
At the Mehra Mansion...
The sun shined brightly in the morning and it carried along with it, the bright smiles of Yuvrag. Yuvrag woke up very early this beautiful Saturday morning.
It was not an ordinary Saturday for him. It was a Saturday where he would take his parents to go see his in-laws.
Yuvrag was so happy that he got dressed before the rest of the Mehra household woke up.
After he got dressed, he gave Natasha a call. He had informed her before now to let her parents know him and his parents would be visiting today.
He chatted with her on the phone with a voice that is fit for his fiancée, his love, his angel. They were on the phone for a long time till it was 6am when he was sure his family had woken up.
When it was 7am, he went downstairs to instruct the butlers to carry the gifts to the car. His parents had bought them during the week.
When that was all settled, he went back inside to the dinning table. It was already 7:30 am that his parents came downstairs.
When he saw his parents, he stood up immediately and greeted, namaste dad, namaste mum, he greeted. Namaste son, his father responded. Bless you son, his mother responded.
After the greeting, his parents sat down at the dinning table, then he sat down afterwards. As breakfast was about to be served, Desha came downstairs and greeted her parents, namaste dad, mum. Bless you child, her parents responded. She sat down afterwards.
By this time, breakfast was already served. Everyone at the dinning table ate afterwards. After breakfast, they all went outside.
Lakshmi his mum then asked, Yuvi, has all the gifts been put into the car? Yes mum, I had the butlers put them all into the car very early this morning.
That is good son, Lakshmi responded. Very well then we dont want to be late, let's go said Purhab.
The whole family entered one car except for Desha, she was not going with them to see Yuvi's future parents in-laws. She would see them at a later date during the wedding ceremonies.
The bodyguards entered another car behind them. The driver of the car the Mehra Family were in, already knew the way to the Ritz's Mansion, so it was easy to drive there without any directions.
But the driver driving the bodyguards had no knowledge of the location so he had to tag along behind the car the Mehra Family are in.
As the car drove out of the house, Desha waved them goodbye and went back inside the house.
When she got to her room, she decided to check out the news concerning Mehra TV. She had heard from Yuvi that Mr. Shamu has been replaced by Miss Arora.
She didn't know who Miss Arora was, she decided to google about it to find out more about Sonal Arora.
Sonal Arora was beautiful, and the interesting facts about her caught Desha's fancy. She imagined that Sonal will be good for wife for her brother Prakash, unconsciously.
Well brother Prakash will be pleased with her after he finds out about this beauty and brains that is currently a staff of Mehra TV, she imagined.
She made a mental note to tell Prakash more about her and maybe curry some favours for Sonal from her brother.
But meanwhile she thought, she has to see this miss Arora next week, to discuss business about the TV media. She was even more relaxed to be able to work with a lady, in person of Miss Arora, rather than a guy Mr. Shamu.
Meanwhile at the Ritz Mansion...
Natasha's parents sat patiently in the living room. Natasha was still getting ready, her sister Nikita was already ready and was helping her get ready.
When she was ready, they both went downstairs to wait with their parents in the living room for Yuvrag and his parents.
Not long after, they heard the sounds of cars entering the compound of the Ritz. They did not fret, they knew instantly that their in-laws had arrived.
Nisha didn't wait for the butlers or maids to open the door, she went towards the door and opened it herself.
She waited at the door for Yuvi and his parents. When they came in, she greeted them. Namaste uncle, aunt. Namaste child they responded.
She ushered them inside the house with a wide smile on her face. She locked the door behind them and instructed the maids to take the gifts from her inlaws to be placed on the living room table.
Both parents exchanged pleasantries afterwards Nisha's dad asked them to sit and be comfortable.
He spoke afterwards...Nisha is my daughter, my first daughter, her elder brother is currently abroad, handling a contract for Ritz's firm. He will surely be present for the wedding.
Nisha is very young, she is just 20 years and she is in her 3rd year in the university, Delhi University. Am sure Yuvrag must have informed you about all this right?
Yes he has, Purhab, Yuvi's dad replied. In fact our daughter, Desha, currently attends same University and she is in her 3rd year aswell. She and Nisha do get along well but they are not in same department. Am sure Nisha must have informed you about it aswell? He asked.
Yes she has, Nisha's dad replied. He then continued... but the main reason why I brought up her schooling is the fact that we, her mother and I want her to continue her schooling after she gets married to Yuvrag. We also want her to be treated nicely at her inlaws, we don't want tears in our precious daughter's eyes at your place.
We do understand your concerns, Purhab replied. She is your precious daughter, she is precious to our son Yuvi, and we see her as a very nice girl who makes our Yuvi happy. We assure you, she would continue her schooling, she can go to school with Desha. We would also ensure she is treated well and properly taken care of.
Very well then, we would inform the rest of our family at the old mansion about the wedding preparations but first let's discuss, let's fix a date for the wedding aswell as the other rituals before the wedding, Nisha's dad responded.
That would be great. Shall we begin then? Purhab asked. With that The discussions about the right date for all the rituals before the main wedding and the actual wedding took flight.
It took a while, but at the end, all dates were finalised. The priest who was invited by Nisha's dad to pick the right date, the auspicious date for the wedding then took his leave.
He was invited for a meal before he left by Nisha's mum, but he had other important work to take care of, other families invited him aswell for a prayer session so he took his leave without eating anything.
After he left, both families then sat down at the hugh dinning table and had lunch. The butlers and maid served them and all were merry. Nisha's mum also instructed the maids to serve the drivers and bodyguards of both families outside. She also indicated that they, the maids and butlers should help themselves too to a meal aswell.
After lunch, Nisha's dad and Purhab's dad went to the living room and talked about work and stock markets. Nisha's mum and Purhab's mum stayed back at the dinning table to talk more about the upcoming wedding excitedly as if they were the ones getting married. Nisha and Purhab went to the terrace to spend sometime together while Nikita went to her room and browsed with her phone.
The butlers and maid were busy clearing up the dinning table and getting the dishes done. All were happy for the soon to be couple. The atmosphere in the house was great but it came to an end when it was 3pm, the Mehra Family had to leave then. While they were leaving, the Ritz family was outside, bidding them goodbye.
When they left, Nisha's dad, as he was going back into the house said to Nisha's mum, Nisha did pick a great family. I am impressed, and I don't have any doubts anymore that Nisha wont be taken care of properly, but however, I will keep my fingers crossed and still look out incase something unexpected comes up.
It is good dear that you now have confidence in the Mehra family but however I think you should be careful dear, we don't want Nisha finding out any of your further plans in spying on the Mehra family. If anything goes wrong, if they are innocent and they find out about it, Nisha would be devastated, Nisha's mum responded.
You don't have to worry honey, nothing will go wrong, my men are the best, besides the Mehra family should be the one to worry, Nisha's dad replied.
By this time they were already inside the house. Nisha's dad went about to continue taking care of work, he works very hard and most times from home on a Saturday from his home office.
Nisha's mum went into the kitchen to instruct the maids on what to prepare for dinner while Nisha and Nikita were in Nisha's room chatting about how handsome Yuvi is and how Nisha is lucky to have him and how Nikita will someday have a good man like him that she can call her own someday when she is older.
On the road, the Mehra family discussed how strict looking Nisha's dad is but was relived that at the end he accepted to give out Nisha's hand in marriage.
Yuvi's parents advised him that after her gets married to Nisha, that he should be more responsible, that he should take good care of Nisha. They also assured him that when they bring their daughter in law home, they would help her adjust in her new home and make her feel comfortable.
Purhab in particular would be busy at the office so he gave the responsibility to ensure Nisha feel more like at home at the Mehra Mansion to his wife Lakshmi. Lakshmi then assured him and Yuvi that she would do her best and treat Nisha like a daughter aswell.
When they got home at the Mehra mansion, Yuvi briefed Desha about what the outcome of their visit to the the Ritz mansion earlier was. He was so excited that he even told Desha he wished he was marrying Natasha at that moment.
Desha teased him and told him not to worry that since the wedding date has been fixed, he should be patient because the wedding date will actually come before he knows it.
Yuvi chatted some more with Desha for a while and reminded her that she should not fail in going to Mehra TV the following week to see Sonal Arora. He also told Desha that he instructed the manager to inform Sonal Arora that she would be seeing her next week.
Desha shook her head, said yes that she won't forget, and thanked Yuvi for his help. Yuvi went to his room afterwards to call his fiancée Natasha.
Before Desha went back to her room, Lakshmi her mum informed her about Nisha, that she and Nisha will now go to Delhi University together when she gets married to Yuvi.
Desha was excited about it and informed her mum that she looks forward to it. Lakshmi was happy that Desha understood everything. While she went into the kitchen to instruct the maids on what to prepare for dinner, Desha went back to her room to research some more about public relations with the help of the internet.
