章 7: My suspicions have been confirmed
It was already 10pm when Prakash Meera stepped into his family home. Huh! author it is Mehra and not Meera, we entering my family home now! Aright alright Prakash, got it...
His father, Purhab Mehra, the president of Mehra Conglomerates had already gone back to the office after the wedding celebrations. He was having an important meeting with the board of directors.
He could have easily organise a video conference but Mehra Conglomerates had secured a very important contract worth billions of dollars, with a foreign company named White George Corporations so he decided it was best to have a physical meeting with the Board of Directors.
So many companies were interested in that deal including the Chatavredi Company and Jah Company but fortunately for them, the contract was secured by the Mehra Conglomerate, the leading business company.
Prakash always preferred the military instead of helping out his father at Mehra Conglomerates.
His younger brother Yuvrag Mehra, the vice president was still learning the ropes of business, he was helping out at Mehra Conglomerates, in the future he will be ready to take over from Purhab Mehra.
His younger sister, Desha Mehra was home chatting on the phone with her friends while his mom, Lakshmi Mehra had retired to her bed after a long time helping out her friend Preeta Jah at her daughter's wedding.
Desha was way younger then Ganga so the two were not close. Sagar Jah and Pulkit Chatavredi were in the military with Prakash Mehra, but it was only a matter of time before they leave the military and take over from their fathers in running their legacies.
They knew the ropes of business already because they have been undergoing training all their lives. Therefore, taking over would be a piece of cake for them.
Both Pulkit and Sagar Fathers, upon seeing that Prakash Father had not retired, decided to hold on their positions a couple more years. This was the reason why Sagar and Pulkit decided to join the military with Prakash.
When Prakash got to his room he quickly showered, called Pulkit and Sagar. After confirming that they had gotten home safely, he reminded them that they would visit the temple the next day.
When the calls ended, he checked his phone galary, he saw the beautiful lady he had fallen in love with, he had snapped her at the wedding celebrations without her knowledge.
He quickly made her photo his screen saver.
At another side of town, Sonal Arora was on the phone with her long time best friend, Jasmine Singh.
Sonal told Jasmine every thing that Yash did to her, she described from the point that Yash Prahtab dropped her to the point where he misbehaved with her and how she pushed him away and went inside her family home.
He did that to you? Well am not surprised. Remember when I told you that I suspect Yash was pretending and wasn't a good person? Well Sonal my suspicions have been confirmed.
I suggest you tell uncle and aunty about it and that you don't want to get married to Yash said Jasmine.
Jasmine I thought about it but I want to get more evidence to back up my claims. Alright girl it's a great idea said Jasmine. See you tomorrow then, said Sonal, alright see you tomorrow replied Jasmine and they both hung up and went to bed.
