章 16: The tolling of the bells.
The first thing they heard was the sound of bells that registered into their minds subconscious, a distinct plucking twang which gushed through their bloods. They felt an assail sensation as unseen energy moved up and down in their bodies. The tickling gave them burning as they started to sweat and gasp for air while crunching on their pounding hearts.
The mental bell rings were getting louder and louder, driving them insane, their eyes widen as they fall on their four limbs on the ground.
Red- searing pain shot from their hearts into their bones. They rolled on the ground seeking any relief Vicodin? Morphine? Anything to ease these intensities pain. They could feel every single bone in their bodies been broken down and at the same time reconstructing itself. The pain was unlike anything they ever felt before.
All their four limbs transformed as the dug on the ground with their nails increasing in size and their bodies becomes hairy. Their eyes turned red before turn back to yellow, and canines increased in length become sharper. The edges of their visions went from normal visions to x-ray as they screamed.
Everything was a clear as crystal. The silent whispers of others were like loud voice, the smells too strong, their speed was very faster as they ran into the night.
Inside Lu Mansion,
Lu Ning looked at the opened red box with a symbol of the skull. What she found was the ugliest ring in the world. She picked It up and felt nothing was special about it. As she puts it on her left index finger. It was too big for her finger, and then she removed and put it back on the box.
What she did not notice was that the moment the ring slide on her finger, a colorless liquid flowed into her skin and entered her arteries. Moreover, the moment the colorless liquid came contact into with her blood, it turned into grey-golden and finally red as its mixture with her blood.
On her back of her neck, slowly appeared a black triskele tattoo appeared and suddenly disappeared into her skin.
"hahaha, seriously grandma. Was this your warning? Nothing happened, just a stupid ring. Was my grandma valued this ring?" She said while shaking her head.
She placed back the ring and closed the red box. The moment she closed, the ring disappeared. She yawned and started replacing everything back into the rusty metallic suitcase and finally stretched out as she got into the bed to sleep.
Slowly her drowsy eyes closed into a peaceful sleep.
In expensive Mansion with the sign " The house of Amaruq",
In an expensive mansion, a young boy about 10-years- old was peaceful sleeping until a sire of rings awaken him. He screamed as he wakes up with his beautiful eyes turns from light brown into green eyes and the same symbol of triskele tattoo appears on his left chest. It disappeared as fast as it appeared. He fall back into his bed with his eyes close and continued to sleep.
The quit night turned into terror and this was just the beginning.
