章 8: I need to know why
A girl comes out of the classroom calling 'RJ'.
" Hey!!! how is your exam?" RJ asks.
" Yeah... not bad. how is yours??"
" Never better."
Looking at them talking so intimately, she thinks there is something between them. Her face change from excitement to sad. They leave laughing at each other words, without giving a single glance at her. She gets so downhearted and returns to the dorms with a gloomy face. She lies on her bed with a fully covered blanket. Tina doesn't want to see anyone. Cherish and Chelsey calls her to join them for dinner. She makes some excuses and stays in the room. She cries whole night looking at his picture, and thinks "Why??... Why not me???... Though you love me or not... my love for you has no end. I know you are not going to be mine, but still, I will love you forever and ever after.".
After the end of their exams, school declares 40 days of holidays. Everyone leaves to hometown. Tina also leaves for home town. Though she is home now, all her thoughts are around RJ. She has so many unexplainable feelings on him. One day, She takes a paper and starts penning them on a paper in the form of a song.

She doesn't want to give up so easily. So, Tina opens her Facebook and creates a fake account. Using that account, she confesses all her feelings hoping he might give her reply. one week passed, but he has not seen her message yet. She again sends a message with the picture she has drawn. Another week passed, he still didn't see the message. Days are going, but nothing has changed.
Course registration is open and everyone should register their course within 24 hours. So they are busy registering the courses and making phone calls to friends. Cherish, Chelsey and Tina make a conference call. Cherish, Chelsey take over afternoon slot. Tina takes over morning slot. As RJ is day schooler he is in the morning slot. She thought she might see him more often.
Holidays are going to end soon. Tina gets bored staying home. She wanted her holidays to end soon. There is not a single day for her without thinking of RJ.
Since tomorrow is the reopening of school, she travels back from hometown. Cherish reached out first, because her hometown was closer to that of Tina and Chelsea. They all embrace with love. 40 days felt like years for them.
The first day of classes, she rushes to academic block early in the morning.
