章 84: It's Not Stupid At All

Carson stumbled into AP Chem half-alive after pulling an almost all-nighter to get his AP Lang homework done. It wasn't due for a few days but since his other classes had assignments due around the same time he forced himself to sit down and get it all done at once.

He didn't go to bed until nearly 4 AM and then had to wake up at 6:30. The lack of sleep would catch up to him eventually but right now he had to get through the day. If he got his homework done fast enough he could conk out at 8 PM.

Ivy sat two rows ahead of him in this class but before it started she turned around, looking even deader than he did, and a concerned frown crossed her face. "You okay?"

She must have heard him cursing his life inside his head. It was both touching and slightly laughable that she was concerned about him when she looked worse than him after getting almost no sleep.

"I stayed up too late finishing all of the AP Lang homework," Carson confessed.
