章 65: I Won't Apologize To You

Ivy didn't want to end up like Rosa under any circumstances. But could she really be sure that Adrian was the only factor at play here?

All this time Ivy had operated under the assumption that Adrian was behind her powers shifting because it only happened after she met him but what if it would have happened anyway? Or if there were other people out there like him that could hurt her too?

"How old were you when this started happening and when did the changes stop?" she found herself asking desperately.

Rosa answered tiredly. "Twenty-six. Like I said, it didn't happen until I gave birth. They didn't stop until after I got locked in here fifteen years later. No changes have happened in the past three years. Believe me now when I say it's entirely his fault?"

She stared daggers at her son, who responded by scowling with his arms crossed over his chest unable to meet her eyes. It really did seem like it was Adrian's fault even if he wasn't aware of what he was doing.
