章 9: IN THE NOST GAL
Meanwhile, in the Nost Gal, was Queen Aurora continues to host warm hospitality to the remaining heroes in army of the Light. Rafaela and the Elven Moon King Estes collaborated to create a magic spell that would help their heroes obtained shield and healing while inside the labyrinth. Because they know that the stories surrounding the maze was truly deadly. Also, the high and icy fortress of Nost Gal with Queen Aurora was by far the safest place for them and the closest to the northern gate of the Minoan Maze. Still in the infirmary, Lancelot finally regains consciousness. His wounds had completely healed that traces of scars were not to be seen. Princess Odette tears up for joy. Nana, the sweet cat-like elf shared with Odette's happiness.
"Rafa is always the best! Meow",
she sweetly beamed as she passes the healing potion to Odette.
"A little more of that to complete you sir. Meow, meow, meow!"
she added and left the two for privacy. And somewhere in the castle too, just arrived, Lancelot's younger sister was running and asking for anyone who knew the whereabouts of his brother. She knew his brother was fighting alongside the army of Light and that Nost Gal has been their refuge. Her exasperation has almost triggered her to use her magic until she bumped into a wounded young man.
"Oh! My apologies",
she said and offered the young man a hand. She noticed the bondage wrapped around his slender body she felt sorry and worried reflecting an image of his beloved brother. The young man showed no weakness and stood on his own strength.
"I am alright, fully recovered. The bondage was just a design I guess",
he dusted himself and offered Guinevere a chivalrous hand gesture.
"Gusion, and you miss?"
he asked and kissed her hand after she places hers onto his.
"Guinevere. I am looking for my brother Lancelot. Would you help me find my brother?"
She replied while hiding a little blush on her frosted cheeks. Gusion smilingly nodded and showed Guinevere the way. Although, little that the two did not seemed to know their arranged fate brought about the Paxley and Baroque engagements. Because both had rebelliously left and travelled to the Land of Dawn. And yet, their fate still meets serendipitously. On the latter, though even Odette insisted Lancelot to stay and extend his rest because Rafaela told them. But he won the argument on following his allies inside the labyrinth.
"My sword thirst for blood",
he claimed with all the burning passion in his heart that he is one of the greatest marksmen and he felt shameful being lost in the action. But the fire burning resilient in his heart burned out after hearing his sword was broken. Despite his broken sword, Odette finally allowed Lancelot to follow in the maze but to allow her to fight alongside him. Princess Odette gives back to Lancelot the sword he gave as a gift because she does not want to see his lover sulking after its broken sword.
