章 126: Fyre and Ice

Kai's face frowned a bit in his sleep. There seemed to be some whisperings or something and his mind was barely registering what was happening as he was between dreamland and reality.

His eyes suddenly opened, and for a moment, he was groggy, unable to understand what was happening and why he was awake. His brain wasn't fully awake yet as he was caught in confusion.

"Oh, look, my love, he's awake," came a female voice nearby.

The moment he heard that, his mind snapped awake fully.

Immediately, he was going to get up into a defensive position but to his horror, he found that he couldn't move! 

"That just makes it more fun," came a male voice closer to him.

The room was dark, so Kai could only make out one vague form in front of him. His heart was clenched in fear because Lianne wasn't in his arms like usual and that female form was where Lianne should be.
