章 240: The blaze desert

Bai Yun did not turn back to look at the bandit leader. Instead, he just stared into the blaze desert.

The blaze desert was just a few feet in front of him. Bai Yun walked over to the edge of the desert and sat down and slowly studied it. 

Bai Yun picked up some of the sand from the ground and slowly studied it. He slowly rubbed the sand and even licked it before letting it float away in the wind.

Bai Yun sat in that position staring at the desert for a while.

A while later he felt a boom coming from behind. A few moments later Chen Jin appeared from the distance.

"What are you doing here? Why didn't you come back?" Chen Jin asked.

"How is the situation back there?" Bai Yun asked.

"It's fine. Everyone there is dead. They are cleaning up the battlefield to make sure that they didn't leave any traces. I came to check up on you because you didn't return even after a while." Chen Jin explained.
