章 8: Chapter8: To The Adventurers Guild!
I was eating on one of the tables. The food made by Marinda-san was delicious, it was mostly vegetables with a few slices of meat and there's also an extra bread, a really fitting for a healthy breakfast. I looked around, Yugo-san was with Katherine-san, eating both his and her breakfast while looking intently at Katherine. I guess he's making sure to not get caught if Katherine ever wakes up. I looked to my left and saw Victor-san who's slowly separating the meat from the vegetables. He then suddenly stood up and slowly walked towards me and hand over to me his vegetables.
[ Consider this my welcoming gift to you. ] Victor-san said with tired looking eyes. He then sat again at his table and sigh.
[ I didn't expect that the food will be mostly vegetables, I just wasted one copper coin. ] he muttered to himself.
Wow, what a cheap Dracula...
I can't find Bretta-san and Marinda-san anywhere after they served us our food, I guess they're inside the kitchen eating too.
[ By the way, Yugo-san, are you going to the Adventurers Guild today? I want to go too and visit. ] I asked Yugo-san, if there's something I should visit first in this city, it would be the Adventurers Guild. I need to earn money too and buy new clothes, my clothes are all tattered.

back when I was a kid me and my father hunted down many kinds of animals, especially wolves when we were
at our vacation house, I don't know if killing wolves was illegal but I just did what my father told me to do. We even tried to hunt a bear once but failed, we almost got eaten there especially me when my father ran so fast leaving me behind after our trap failed and the bear started chasing us.
[ is that so? you already have experiences with monsters huh? then it would be easy for you to hunt them. I don't know but I'm sure you can do some rank F monsters subjugation requests if you already hunted some monsters yourself. ] of course, if I can destroy half of a mountain with just a punch I can guarantee I can do rank F monsters subjugations.
[ Huuu... What time is it? ] After a while, Katherine-san finally woke up, looking a little dizzy.

[ no, I'm not, but yes I'm from a different country. ] I answered her. She suddenly then stood up.

Katherine finally walked down from the stairs.
[ Oho! that was fast Katherine-sama!!. ] Yugo-san suddenly shouted enthusiastically.
[ That was a new record! your every day hard work pays off Katherine-sama! ] that was a new record!? how could she possibly take so long wearing a short piece of armor? or is it possible because she's a girl, they say that girls really take long choosing their clothing, so I guess?
Katherine-san then walks toward me. Unlike earlier, where you can easily guess that she has a hangover, right now she's standing elegantly and looking more beautiful.

I'm really stunned, is this her real personality?

[ well, I guess I can do so, then, Katherine-san please take me with you to the Adventurers Guild. ] I looked at her straight at her face and made a bright smile, I also hold out my hand for a handshake.
