Deo called several times for Rhio but he didn't turn his head at the call of his secretary. Desperately, I took off my doll shoes and hurled it in the air, hoping it will hit him. 

I don't care if he'll get angry. 

I just wanted him to turn at me and see how miserable I felt like now that he's leaving without notice. 

My shoes flew and, to my disappointment, hit the fat security guy instead. They turned their eyes to us.

"Hey Deo," I yelled in a whisper, "Aren't you one of Rhio's men?" 

"Not anymore," his gaze had a shadow of sadness but he hid it instantly with a smile, "It's a long story."

What?

Did Deo get fired? 

What are we gonna do now?

Two gigantic guards towered over us as Rhio went entirely out of sight. 

"What time is his flight?" 

"He'll take a private plane, Miss Jasmin. It'll leave as soon as he boards."

What?! Why did you tell me just now?
