章 67: The Anarchic Chaos’s Perspective (1)

Never have I felt so angered in my life...! What 'My name is Harmony'?! We are the same individual!

Chaos cannot exist without Harmony, because without him I am nothing more than 'Anarchy'...!

"What are your plans?" Void asked as I was lost in thought about losing my connection with 'myself'.

"We need to collect my Origin Shards before the Holy War commences. You promised to find the several pieces of my power that landed in Red Tryst Vine Village." She continued in a menacing tone. Not that I was scared of her threats.

"Why are speaking as if I'm your subordinate?"

"There's no such thing as a relationship of equality between a weakling and someone like me."

"Heh... Hahahahaha!" I started laughing at this idiot who volunteered to be a punching bag.

"If that's what you think, let me get my mojo on and use you to vent~! Do you recognise these?" As I was speaking, a halo of energy appeared above my head, on the left side of my forehead grew a horn created from my Skill Roots. This surprised her...

"...They are different from before." I could tell from the look on her face that she was truly puzzled.

[Halo of the Time God!]

[Horn of the Space God!]

Unlike Harmony, my Auxiliary Skills didn't manifest as the five elements or four laws but instead formed within my eyes. In one eye was a strong resonance to kinetic energy while the other connected to a certain building block of reality.

Oddly enough, despite being raring for battle a minute ago. She actually started asking questions:

"I can sense the Space Attribute and Time Attribute. Are you able to sense my Miss?"

"She is with the Duke right now. Even with these eyes and my Skill Roots. There isn't anything I can do unless I can access Harmony's own Skill Roots that can help me make a bridge to this world." I spoke as the fire in my heart suddenly died out.

Now the only thing I could feel was emptiness... or was this apathy? I hate being able to hold back.

"Why don't you reveal this power to the Duke?"

"Even though I'm worried for Sapphire, that doesn't mean I trust her father. He is too craft and manipulative to talk to." I shrugged as I had already found the Duke's idea to bring her back intriguing.

Rather than superimposing the power of four Skill Roots in order to gain access to a 'Divine Skill', he had set up a ceremony to breath new life into his daughter and essentially 'steal her from death'.

The Bestowal Ceremony wasn't something even Void seemed aware of as Skill Roots were a work of innovation created by Humans for Humans. The Druids may have been powerful, but it takes not having an endless supply of power to work your way around it. This was the same concept Enigma had used when he chose to reincarnate Harmony.

"I have the feeling that things will work out if we leave this to the man-in-charge. Anyway, Harmony has gone AWOL (Absent Without Official Leave) in Red Tryst Vine Village. He might even steal your power for the sake of it, as an irresponsible guy like that who leaves everything at home to me isn't a decent person in my eyes." I spoke melancholically.

"Why are you so focused on merging with him?"

"Can't you at least ask something else if you're going to pester me like this? I'm looking for him to complete myself." Void's eyebrows jumped as even someone as 'alien' as her felt some empathy here.

"Then our objectives are the same..."

"Though our destination are different... Back to the point though, did you disrespect your dear 'older brother' earlier?" I turned my head towards her with serpentine eyes as I glared at her intently.

Unlike Harmony, I could freely access Uni Being state and go beyond Human and Beast- No, Druid and Fiend with just a thought. I am the ultimate weapon compared to Harmony, that Male turned Female who can only be a Human or Beast.

"...You weren't talking to me properly." She looked a little fearful as she started right into my eyes.

"What do you mean?"

"To use Teacher's words, you were 'soulless' until I challenged you to a fight. Did Harmony break your heart?" These words made my emotions flare up again as my previously deactivated Skill Roots manifested, causing her to realise her mistake.

"You say it as I have feelings for 'myself'."

"You don't? I like Harmony though."

"Incest isn't allowed between us 'siblings'..."

"Why not?"

"Birth defects of children happen when-"

"I mean about us 'siblings' specifically. We are not blood-related, our souls are separate, and our hearts are complicated. Especially me, I was a sword before being reincarnated into a Human."

"Why can't you be content with taking him as an older brother?" I couldn't help but ask.

"He doesn't like me..."

"That's because you brainwashed him once."

"It was a logical action, from what you told me, he also tried doing it to his sister, so I don't understand the problem." She tilted her head as if it was the most normal thing to do to someone.

"How would you like it if someone brainwashed you?" I turned back to my original form as I asked.

"I would be brainwashed."

"That's not what I meant. Wouldn't you feel hate for someone who tried messing with your mind?"

"Hatred is an illogical emotion. I would just consider it gaining a new 'wielder' for myself."

"...You are a Human now. Try acting like it."

"It's hard...!" She finally made a pained expression as if she understood and was trying to be 'normal'.

"I can't get used to it... Brainwashing people is so much easier than talking to them. I don't even have to explain or describe things. Wouldn't it be easier if other people stopped talking and do as you say?"

"I get your feel. However, that doesn't change the fact that you disrespected me." I clung on to that.

"...We already fought once." I noticed her tremble a little as she took a step back, making me understand that I must have unconsciously beat her up using Omni Being in my 'soulless' state.

"Fine. So in the end: You just want Harmony to like you. That sounds a lot more innocent that revenge against Enigma for throwing you out just because he thought you were a nuisance to him."

"He didn't treat me like Merilin even when I told him I was his little sister... I want him to fight me."

"Whoah, you want to 'fight' him?"

"His killing intent is so beautiful~!"

"You are an M, you are DEFINITELY an M... If you're aiming to get beaten up, then why are you scared of me?" I found this point odd considering she seemed like a battle junkie compared to me.

"I like 'fighting' with Humans... The way you is like some kind of 'Creature', not like a 'Warrior'."

"And getting beaten by 'Warrior' is better?"

"They are the only one who acknowledge me...!" I don't know what she meant by this statement.

"How about you come with me? I'll give you advice on how to get my attention after I ate Harmony."

"Are you trying to kill our 'Eldest'?" She looked at me with killing intent that overwrote her fear of me.

"...We'll be the same person after I have forcibly assimilated him into me. Technically, he won't die as we will both become one entity." I smiled eerily towards her while knowing what she'll answer.

I can always use the excuse of wanting to become independent and slowly wanting to work my way up as an Adventurer to my parents. Once I get there, I will rush at Harmony's 'Host' and rip him a new one. How dare he seduce my other half?!

I will make his death painful and make Harmony watch...! How dare 'she' reject me? How dare she reject 'us'?! There's no need for Harmony to make things this tiring... Even if assimilating her forcefully right now will turn me into someone who is neither man or woman, I'd rather live with a body like that than be separated from my 'other' any longer...!

"Okay, that sound fine to me. As long as that killing intent doesn't disappear. I'm fine. In fact, I'll go with you so nothing goes out of our expectations like before." Void spoke with deep longing.

I knew she would agree with me like this from the start. Even before Harmony broke our bond, I had known that Void had a very 'special' mindset. As long as you gave her what she wanted, she didn't care if someone was to disappear or not.

"That's great. Now all we ha-" Half way through my words, I felt my mind being weighed down by a reality altering phenomenon that I could feel coming from a familiar source. When the faceless gentleman appeared in my head, I ridiculed:

"Well if it isn't our resident 'faker'? How does the title of Eclipse God make you feel?" I spoke while knowing the inside story to why this second eldest brother of ours hated being called by that name.

"Chaos, Void... I see that you're doing fine."

"No thanks to you. Did you come here to get hacked up?" Void replied while pointing her sword.

It's not that I didn't understand her emotions. In the eyes of a weapon, being thrown out was the biggest humiliation it could face. Just seeing her hatred firsthand made me want to shake my head.

"I came on official business. However, I do have time to talk with you now. How have you been? If you want, you can always assimilate with me the same way Chaos wants Harmony to do~" Even though I couldn't see his eyes, I knew they smiled.

"Divine Stalker..." I spat out in annoyance. Why is it he seems to take stalking as something natural?

"Don't want to do it. I like my individuality." She shook her head as she didn't notice the subtext.

"Oh, my adorable youngest sister! I wanted to meet you earlier, but I was so fascinated by how you were able to attain the conceptual laws of the Sword God to the point I couldn't find it in my heart to disturb you. Please forgive me, my sister."

"..." I almost facepalmed after seeing how Void was getting tricked by his melodramatic tone. There's no way that expression that seemed to bury the hatchet so easily was fake considering her 'pure heart'. It was like she hadn't heard of lies before.

"And as a reward for your efforts, let me award you with something I had been working on. Please pass me an object you have sentimentality for in order to turn it into a treasure." Like a con-artist, Enigma continued with a righteousness in his tone.

Void didn't speak any nonsense as she was the type to skip the formalities if she didn't want to use them. The only reason she didn't explain to Sapphire that she wasn't mute was due to not caring enough to clear up there misunderstanding.

She gave him the sword she always had on her waist. From what I could tell, this was the medium she had used to 'sharpen' her Aura as the amount of Mana naturally imbued into it was immense.

"From this day forth: This sword now represents your divinity as a Sword Goddess and will also work as a invitation to the 'Banquet of Eden'. Consider this my first gift to you, my adorable little sister." I felt really uncomfortable as he 'consoled' her.

"And Chaos, I'm sorry for suddenly throwing you out of the Twilight Dimension back then. I wanted to reunite you with your other half as early as possible and forgot to take your opinion into consideration. Let me make it up to you." He spoke while extending his hand to gesture towards me.

I knew what he was implying and of course, I didn't believe one word of his nonsense. However, if he was offering a helping hand in my efforts to reunite with Harmony, then why would I refuse?

Between Mjölnir Hand and Warlock Armoury, one represented my past life while the other represented my current one. Although Warlock Armoury wasn't bad and I also felt sentiments towards it, there was also some negative feelings mixed into it as well. Contrastingly, Mjölnir Hand was a creation of mine that only brought me joy.

The choice was obvious. I gave him the glove of my hand and let him mould a tiny portion of my Mans before infusing it into the armament. Although it might be hard for others to understand, but I could feel that a close connection formed between me and Mjölnir Hand like that of Skill Root. It even changed appearance somewhat as a terrifying force of natural lighting radiated from it.

"It seems I messed up a little..." Enigma seemed saddened as he looked at the glove. The power radiating from the glove was too strong, making it impossible for a Human to even be able to touch it.

"There's no problem with it. I find this 'Conceptual Weapon' to suit me." I spoke while using the term Enigma had always used when talking about the Overseeing Mirror with me. The power radiating from it reminded me of Norse Mythology.

When talking about the original Mjölnir mentioned in myths. There is a legend that Thor, Son of Odin and the most terrifying fighter among those of Asgard, was the only God capable of handling the power of such a devastating divine weapon.

How coincidental that legends would repeat themselves as I tamed the Mjölnir Hand I wore.

"From now on, that glove will represent your divinity as the Nature God. The natural energies of this world will now bow to you as the one who commands the commoners among elements." The faceless freak in this stagnant world created by our consciousness 'smiled' before suddenly vanishing into thin air. The abruptness left me at a loss...

Didn't he come for official business...? Why did he leave before talking about it? Or has he done what he had came here to do? If that's the case, then I am impressed by how he took advantage of his task. He hit two birds with one stone...

What a scheming 'older brother'.
