章 12: Beyond The Scenes

The name of the current first place was: Beyond The Scenes.

When BTS saw this group, they were dazed. This was the second group that involved teenagers. The 7 teens looked so similar to when the members were young and also performed really well. Suga recognized them, these teens were the people that he saw before, the ones who were conversing with passion in their eyes. The performance made BTS feel nostalgic, remembering the times when they had performed when Bangtan first debuted.

Although their moves and pitches were a little off sometimes, Beyond The scenes weren't nervous at all on stage, in the center of attention. Instead, they seemed to love the feeling. Their teamwork was awesome and clever; when one member made a mistake, the entire team would make a mistake on purpose to make everything seem intended.

These little tricks didn't fool the foreign judge, but she was definitely amused. She had seen Beyond The Scenes' information.

The boys all had a thriving passion for music, but couldn't afford the fees of a professional instructor. Coincidentally, the group met during a presentation given by the JinHit CEO to encouraging people to live their dreams at JinHit 5 years ago and soon became friends. The fact that these boys didn't have an instructor alone yet still danced and sung so well was already amazing, since they also met at JinHit, doesn't it seem like fate also wanted these boys to become renowned idols of JinHit?

Unfortunately, this would never happen in this month. That's because there are still many groups that have yet performed, and one of them will be BTS.

Soon, all of the groups had performed except for BTS. No one else had beaten Beyond The Scenes, and no one expected that another group will overtake them.

"And our last group, Bangtan Sonyeondan!" The host still enthusiastically announced. The crowd, however, were tired and rolled their eyes at this announcement. The winners have already been fixed, so what's the point of the other auditions? This was the thought that filled their mind.

A person snickered. "I know this group. I saw them registering for the audition 2 hours ago!"

"Really?! Do they think they will pass?" His friend was surprised. The songs given be JinHit were all so hard to master.

"They obviously aren't. But it'll be amusing to watch. I wonder what their score will be."

This conversation was heard and repeated, and soon, the entire audience knew Bangtan Sonyeondan and their feat of only practicing the audition song for 2 hours.

Despite the disdainful looks and cursed chatter directed at them, BTS themselves were calm and collected as they walked towards the stage in slow, steady steps. This scene was too familiar to the boys, as they had dealt with situations like this thousands of times in the past. They are legends who've taken over the world with their incredible singing, dancing, and rap, along with astounding looks. But this is not the Earth that they are used to, and they've accepted it.

One didn't need to explain or retort to others, you can just slap some faces after you show them your actual abilities.

"Hi, my name is Kim Namjoon, leader of Bangtan. I'm the main rapper."

"Hello, my name is Kim Seokjin. I am a vocalist."

"My name is Jeon Jeongguk. Also known as Jungkook. I'm the main vocalist."

"My name is Kim Taehyung, a vocalist. You can call me V. "

"My name is Park Jimin. I'm the lead vocalist."

"My name is Jung Hoseok, also called Jhope. A lead rapper."

"My name is Min Yoon-gi, a lead rapper. Also called Suga."

A simple introduction. Then, the music started, and the audience was captivated by the group's charm and charisma. Their stage presence was overwhelming. But this was just the beginning.
