章 108: Bowling Date
"Here we are now." Rain's driving stopped. He quickly went out of the car and proceeded to open the car door where KM seated. He extended his hand to help KM get out of the car.
KM was astonished while realizing where they are. "Y-you brought me to a mall?"
"Yes, but there's a specific place inside the mall that I want us to have our date with." smiled Rain.
"You do realize that there are crowds here that might have known me as the 'famous singer' right?" KM's brows curved.
"Yes, but I don't worry and I'm not afraid to be publicly exposed, if ever. Besides, if the situation will get worst, we have your bodyguards to clear our paths, and keep you 'safe', right? Please trust me in this KM, will you?"
"Okay, suit yourself." KM retreated. She then anchored her left arm to his right arm while they were walking together inside the mall.
People around them inside the mall were busy among themselves, so no one seem to ever bothered them. Rain have led them, along with her bodyguards that dressed sporty too, to enter an elevator and pressed the 3rd floor.
So inside the elevator was Rain, KM and her bodyguards.
They were all silent, then the sound of the elevator belled indicating that they have arrived on their floor. Soon, the elevator door opened and they quickly went out.
KM upon noticing that Rain was leading them towards a bowling center couldn't help but asked in astonishment, "A bowling center? We will be having our date here and play bowling?"
"Yes, but before we play, there's a portion of this bowling center that's a restaurant where we can order food and eat our dinner first."
"Oh, okay." KM just abided trying to hide her excitement to play bowling, for it has been a long time since she played bowling the last time before this.
So they went inside and sat on the one table while her bodyguards sat on the next table.
Rain and KM ordered their food and so are her bodyguards, Gabe and Zach.
While they were waiting for their food to be served, KM started inquiring about Rain and his interests.
"So, playing bowling is one of your hobbies, aside from writing suspense novels?"
"Yes and no!" Rain smiled widely noticing KM's curiousity about him.
"Huh? What do you mean?" KM's brows curved.
"Yes I'm playing bowling sometimes as a hobby. But writing suspense novels is definitely not my hobby anymore, for it becomes my passion. It's my drive to write," explained Rain and curved his lips into a sparkling smiles.
"I see. So you have siblings, brothers and sisters?" KM continued.
"I have one brother and one sister, both are younger than me. I'm the eldest." Rain with proud smiles.
"Excuse me sir and mam, here's your food," the waiter then placed the food in their table.
"Okay, thank you." KM replied to the waiter.
"You're welcome," smiled the waiter.
Rain just smiled and nodded at the waiter. Then he gaze at KM and tried to put some food on KM's plate but KM refused to be served.
"Thank you, but I can do that myself. But I suggest, you should pray first for our meal before we eat, hmm?"
"Oh okay, why not?" Rain then prayed. And after he prayed he gaze at KM again with smiles, noticing her being independent and not wanting to be served he just said, "Let's eat!"
"Okay," KM then held her spoon and fork and started getting some food to put in her plate, and proceeded to eat at a slow pace.
Rain proceeded to eat at a little bit faster than KM, and in few minutes exclaimed, "Hmm the food is so yummy, isn't it?"
KM just nodded agreeing, while taking time to chew her food properly.
After both of them and then her 2 bodyguards have finished their meal, they then proceeded to the counter to get 2 bowling lanes. One lane for both Rain and KM and the other lane were for her 2 bodyguards Gabe and Zach. Since Rain have asked Gabe and Zach to play with them and be their opponents, the 2 have accepted to be their opponents then.
And so the game begun...
"Ladies first!" Rain let KM to be the first player in their lane and he will be the 2nd player then. While Gabe is the first player of their lane and the second is Zach. So KM is competing against Gabe, and Rain is competing against Zach. In that order.
"Strike!" exclaimed KM with a proud smile.
"Wow! You bowl good KM." Rain gently tapped her shoulders as a support to her.
"Spare!" exclaimed Gabe.
"Strike too!" exclaimed Rain.
"You bowl good too Rain." KM smiled at him.
"Strike!" Zach exclaimed.
"Wow, your bodyguards can bowl pretty good too!" Rain gasped in astonishment.
"Yeah, they used to bowl with me in the past!" KM proudly smiled at Rain.
