章 70: Desperate Situation

Heart of Immortality, a divine item that can give unlimited regeneration to its user even the user itself is badly damaged at the cellular level. The one that uses this item will become immortal. Such a godly item that is too good to be true.

The Heart of Immortality is not giving any reaction besides his blood. Left with no other choice he gambled that he would not be easily taken over by the item.

During this time, at the Rosewood capital city, mass panic begins to spread all over the city. Although there are a lot of soldiers that maintain the order and evacuate citizens, they still cannot overcome the chaotic situation.

All of this happens because of a bizarre creature called Famon. Famon's body can regenerate almost indefinitely unless there is a magic that restrains them. However, their chaotic properties also make them highly resistant to magic.

This way only 5 stars above spells can give them sufficient effect. It means only high-level magicians that could help.

Although this is a capital city, Rosewood kingdom's combatant is leaner toward warrior path and its specialty. Because of this, there are only a handful of high-level magicians nearby.

There is no way for the normal soldier to contain Famon that has high regeneration ability with uncountable tentacles while absorbing nearby lives. No matter how many times the soldier tries to cut it down, it will keep regenerating as long as they have sufficient energy.

Unless they use a special skill or high-level skill level that could stop its regenerating ability, they have no chance to defeat Famon.

However, like it was planned all the high-level warriors from the guilds right now are lying around across the town poisoned.

However, there is no even a scratch on Agnar's body. It still looks as good as before. On the contrary, his presence becomes more dangerous with each passing second.

Now, Judom could only occasionally help Ragna that keep fighting it. His rune warrior transformation has already been undone from some time ago.

As for Shin and Fyi, both level five warriors already fainted because of overworking of their own body and mageforce exhaustion. Ragna keeps occupied Agnar to not lead it to harm the others by relying on his body strength.

"Damn, what the hell is this creature? No matter how strong our attack it always can parry, deflect or dodge it." [Ragna]

Agnar could keep and toy with them because of his aura. Agnar has high intelligence and instinct to copy its opponent's battle style. Copying their opponent's battle style, required them to learn their rhythm.

During Josep testing its power, it was beaten out blue and cannot copy Josep's battle style. It cannot read Josep's rhythm at all.

But somehow it managed to subconsciously copy and create its aura. Later this aura turns into Battle Stance aura, this aura could help the user to analyze their opponent's rhythm.

Agnar could skillfully deflect or dodge Ragna's party attack despite attacks from all directions. Moreover, this aura also boosts Agnar's strength and capability the longer he battles.

In the meantime, inside the royal chamber, lay a middle-aged man on the bed with strong pale skin tone and blonde hair.

"Uhuk… Hah.. Hah… Artven, What happens outside?? Why do I feel there are a lot of nasty chaos creatures outside the castle??" [Rosewood's King]

Then, Artven immediately tells his king about the sudden attack and their current situation inside the capital city. Hearing all of this the king immediately gets up from his bed while Artven worries about his body.

"It's alright Artven. My body is still weak but it is enough to deal with all those scum. Bring me my sword!!" as the king commands his loyal subordinate with a face of determination.

In the meantime, after Josep touched the Hearth of immortality, he fell unconscious and woke up inside a gigantic cave in deep maroon color. There are a lot of blood-red crystals protruding from the ground and wall.

Now, Josep felt in a very predicament because he doesn't know anything about this place. He also lost contact with Alice, his main supporter of artificial intelligence. Alice's support is very important to Josep especially during this time.

Moreover, his body condition is still not fully recovered and very exhausted. Then, he feels something in the deeper part of the cave. Arriving at the inner area, he found a red-colored crystal-like in the air.

Before he could approach further, he found that a lot of spirits were gathering near him. One of them has a real shape of a human approaching him. The soul appearance becomes more like a person with a robust body and majestic armor.

"Kid.. How did you get here?? Quick, you need to get out of here before… Arrgg" [???]

As the soul in front of him clutching his head in pain manners before looking at Josep with murderous intent.

Before Josep can react, the knight punches him in his stomach. Josep who still has not recovered cannot react properly and flies from the ridiculous punch until around a few hundred meters away.

'What a ridiculous strength is that?!' Thought Josep

Fortunately, he already has a super-soldier body to survive the attack. However, he still got a lot of damage just from that one punch.

Then, all the nearby knights were blown away from the deadly punch.

"N-No way… Pride?? Wrath?? Why are you here??!" [Josep]

Before pride could answer, "Oii… muscle head!! Didn't we agree to wait more?? [???]

"Hihihi… Alice looked at this crystal. Ain't it such a beauty?? [???]

As Josep looked at the new group making its appearance, "Everyone… I… I…"

"Now, why don't you rest for a bit and leave them to us." As Lust points toward the souls that begin to appear.

"Kukuku… You hear that boys… Time to go rampage. Pride, defend our position! Wrath, smash everything! Gluttony, they are food! Envy, assist Pride and Wrath! Greed, I want to know everything about this goddamnit place!! And little brother Sloth just sleeps near brother Septem and protects him." As Lust gives a series of commands toward the others.

"Kikiki.. Time to wreak havoc!!" [Wrath] as he keeps destroying and punching every single soul.

"Ehhh… what do you mean assist them?? Did you not see them one punched Septem??" As Envy running around.

"Hohoho…. To think someone could withstand Wrath's world punch means you are pretty decent but still weak compared to me." As Pride looked at the robust knight with majestic armor in front of him.

"Hooo… This is interesting, Alice full overdrive mode!!" [Greed]

"Yes, Greed-sama." As soon as Alice says that, there is a lot of hologram panel in front of Greed typing on it.

"FOOOODDD!!!!" Gluttony becomes a sort of abomination and tries to devour all single souls he found.

However, the soul keeps coming like an endless tide of ant towards them.

"Hmm… Alright guys time to get serious. [Command] be faster and stronger!" [Lust]

As soon as Lust said that, the others became more agile and stronger. This is the power that God gives to him. The power to enhance the other as he commanded. During this time, Envy became grinning evilly.

"Found you!! You have the strongest soul among the others." As he approached one of the gigantic size souls.

Then, Envy touches the gigantic soul and uses his power [Hollow]. Envy god given power makes him like an empty husk so he could easily possess the others. Suddenly, Envy became the gigantic soul itself and mascaraed the other soul nearby easily.

"Now… die you imbecile ant!! [OVERSOUL]" As Envy boosts his soul power.

"Huhh… Why didn't dodge my attack??" [the robust knight with majestic armor]

"Hmm.. why should I dodge the attack of an ant?!! Let me show you the true attack is!! [Pride]

"[Absolute] One sword style – Devastating Slash" [Pride]

The ground is slashed all the way toward the horizon while all the soul got 'slash' along the way.

Pride wishes to the god to never back down against anything which gave him the power of [Absolute]. A power that gives him the power of absolute power.

Meanwhile, Wrath begins in the predicament since the souls he killed keep regenerating and coming toward him endlessly. "ANNOYING…. Fuck off you all!!! [Annihilation] [One Point Strike]" *BOOOMM*
