章 39: Battle Peak's Peak Master

Looking at the pitch black dragon's stats, Ye Qin was surprised by a large margin. "The peak master is incredibly strong! Even within the last few generations, he must've been at the peak of trainers!" he thought
"How many years will it take for me to get to that stage?" he wondered
The Divine Thunder Dragon's aura alone caused Ye Qin and Wang Tao to suffocate under its intense pressure. It is especially so on Ye Qin who has seven dragons within his monster sea as he tried his best to keep himself from falling unconscious
Yawn*
"Now, you two lads better go before the teachers get here. I'll cover it up for you two, now go." the old man wearing ragged clothing but kept and clean hair along with a gourd hanging on the side of his pants
With a wave of his hand, Ye Qin and Wang Tao disappeared from the platform as the old man picked up his gourd and drank directly from it as liquid slowly dripped into his mouth as well as down onto his clothes

Whoosh*
The two brothers suddenly appeared down below the Battle Tower's teleportation gate. The man who had helped them register previously ran up to them and said "Are you two alright? You have caused some big trouble."
Ye Qin replied "We're fine, to think our little game overloaded the system. You guys might want to get an upgrade."
The man heard what Ye Qin said and thought internally, "F*ck we're already using the latest technology and they said it was just a game? A game overloaded the system? The system was designed to be able to handle battles between even the peak masters yet these two actually overloaded it! Looks like I'll need to kiss some *ss". The man didn't reply but instead nodded as the two brothers went outside the building and had some rest
After a while, some teachers arrived at the peak and saw the two brothers before rushing up to the Battle Tower. Only Yang Xinyi remained and gave the two a displease but also happy look before heading up to the tower
The two wiped their sweat as they waited until it was time for all the new students who had successfully passed the test to gather in one of the halls of the peak

Gathered in the hall, 20 or so students sat down on chairs and looked ahead at the peak master who had changed into a brand new set of clothing but still kept his gourd hanging on his waist stood in front of all the students. Clearing his throat, the peak master slowly said "Welcome and congratulations to those of you who have passed, as you may already know, this morning a couple of chipmunks caused a small commotion on the first floor of the Battle Tower. Well enough about that, today is the day for all of you to get to know each other as you will not only be rivals but also comrades in arms."
The students cheered as the peak master ended his sentence. The peak master eyed the two brothers for a brief moment before leaving with a smile and letting the vice peak master handle the rest
"Well since you're all here, what else is there to learn about each other's strength than to have a bout. Who's in?" a somewhat handsome young man in his late twenties wearing a black suit and red tye asked loudly
"Whoo!!!" the students became excited as they heard that they are able to battle again. "Well, then let's head to the Battle Tower's highest floor just for today whilst they solve the problem on the lowest floor." the vice peak master said as he left with students following behind him
Whoosh* Whoosh*
When everyone arrived, the peak master began a lottery system to determine who would fight who. Ye Qin, Wang Tao as well as the young man who had beaten Ning Caiyan previously, didn't have their names called out
Naturally, someone in the crowd took notice of this and asked, "Vice peak master, how come those three haven't been called up?"
"Oh them? Well if it's up to them if they want to join in." the vice peak master replied. "What? Why do they have the right to be excluded as they please?" the same student asked. Other students followed him and questioned the vice peak master
The vice peak masters' happy expression then changed as he said unhappily, "If you think you can beat Gold Stars then go ahead." The sudden change in his expression and cold attitude shocked the students completely as the student almost fell backward
Suddenly, Wang Tao put up his hand and said, "Well I'm up for the challenge if anyone wants to have a go.". The student who had questioned the vice peak masters' decision turned around and said, "Alright then, I would like to see just how strong the Gold Stars are."
"Good. Now that's more like it." the vice peak master smiled as he clapped. The students all headed for the seats as Ye Qin sat down at the very front to watch his best friend
On the platform, Wang Tao faced his dissatisfied opponent. His opponent sent out his monster first as a flash of blazing red light appeared in front of him. From the blazing red circle of light, a head popped out revealing a cat like head with sharp front teeth
Roar*
A black tiger with red crystals growing from its body emerged its body slowly from the light. The black tiger being slightly bigger than the Blackgold Python Tiger, tapped its paw onto the ground as large glowing red crystals popped out from the ground

[Info: A species of tiger that grew crystals on its body that store its raging flames whilst also making it appear more grand]
"Why does he look so proud?" Wang Tao thought as he looked at his foes expression and wondered. He then stopped smiling and summoned his partner. With a flash of golden light and a loud roar, the opponent's monster began to shiver and almost grovel before the aura of the Blackgold Python Tiger before it even appeared on the field
"What's going on? Why does it seem so scared?" some students wondered in the crowd. The more the Blackgold Python Tiger revealed itself, the more the crystal tiger became suppressed under its overbearing aura
Roar*
The Blackgold Python Tiger roared once more as it revealed its majestic aura before the eyes of the crowd. "Oh what's that? I've never seen it before, it does look kinda like a Gold Winged Tiger though." someone said in the crowd
"Hey you're right, it really looks similar." someone added in
The Blackgold Python Tiger stared into the eyes of the Red Crystal Tiger causing its fear to become even greater. Wang Tao laughed without making noise as his opponent grew impatient and ordered his monster to attack
"Hey get up and attack!" he shouted at it
The Red Crystal Tiger tried its best to stand up on all fours as the red crystals it had created before suddenly glew bright red like the sun and shot out beams of flames at the Blackgold Python Tiger
The Blackgold Python Tiger waved its tail as it created ice that flew towards the beams of fire and instantly evaporated the flames. The Blackgold Python Tiger stepped on the ground as ice suddenly sprouted from underneath the Red Crystal Tiger and almost impaled it
Whoosh*
The Red Crystal Tiger couldn't dodge the attack in time as a large cut appeared on its torso with litres of blood oozing out from its wound. With just a single move, Wang Tao instantly defeated his foe and inflicted major wounds
"Ah! My Red Crystal Tiger!" Wang Tao's opponent cried as his monster returned to the monster sea instantly for recovery. "No way! He defeated a Silver Star with just one attack! Is the difference between Gold Stars and Silver Stars really so vast?" one of the students who had previously supported the defeated student shouted
Wang Tao then looked at the rest of the students and said loudly "Anyone else?". The Blackgold Python Tiger roared loudly as its master provoked the crowd. The crowd was silent. "Well then, how about five of you come up at the same time then?" he asked again
This time the other students became angry, "What! How arrogant! Just because you can beat one of us, you think you can beat five at once?!" someone shouted angrily
"Insane! This guy's insane!" another student shouted
"Now now kids, if you really think he's just arrogant. Then why not teach him a lesson?" the vice peak master smiled again and said
"That's right! Since he's so confident, let's show him!" one of the students said. "Yea we should avenge that other guy and show this show off who's boss!!" another student shouted. As for some of the other students, they stayed quiet or pretended to chat amongst themselves
As for those who supported the fight, five of them were chosen through a game of rock,paper, scissors. Once the five were chosen, they all headed down towards the platform and stood side by side

Five lights of different colors flashed at the same time in front of the Blackgold Python Tiger
