章 26: Happy Han
"Come here. What is your question" Athena asked, finally finishing her tasks?
She had successfully finished her personal tasks and school work.
Her neck started aching-she stretched and waited for Helen to grab her stuff to ask her the question, she was unsure of.
"This one, I don't get it how do you do this?" Helen asked. Maths was really not her most favorable subject.
"Oh and this one" Helen said.
"That one also."
"How did you get that number-Oh, nevermind I get it"
"What about number 7, it is of a different format."
"Oh ya, I do this right."
"Ah, I got it."
"I am so smart- I mean you are"
"While you're at it, could you explain to me this one-we might learn it tomorrow, but I just want to know beforehand."
"Oh ya-I got it- I am so stupid."
The whole entire time, it was as if Helen was in a mono act. She was talking, while Athena followed her request and tried to explain the questions that needed more attention. She explained further and further, they were both working-when there was an interruption.
"Grrr" Helen's stomach made a low growl.
"Hahahaha" Athena's cold, slightly distant look went away in a jiffy. Even though she was more warm towards Helen there was also a type of coldness on her face.
But the low growl from Helen's stomach and her slightly embarrassed look got rid of all the coldness.
The other person who is also slightly shocked was none other than Helen- she had never seen her sister laugh. It was the first time she had seen her sister laugh. She fro once looked genuinely happy.
Helen was in awe because the pure joy and her expression were only showcasing her beauty.
"Hahahaha" Helen also started laughing afterward, the room was filled with laughter.
They both had failed to notice steward Xuan who was staring at them with a shocked expression.
He had knocked on the door and waited for a while for the young ladies to open the door, but had not heard an answer for a long time.
Out of curiosity and fear he had slightly opened the door, to find the young ladies laughing in pure joy and happiness. Without care. Without worries. Without caution. Without planning and scheming.
Like any average happy young girls.
He was shocked and happy that his late master's granddaughter was finally laughing and moving on from the late madam's tragic death.
"Um young ladies, I apologize for disturbing you, but could you please come down for dinner. It is time and your father is already here." The steward said, he was sad for disturbing them. But he could not do anything- because he was also worried about the young ladies health.
"Ok" Athena replied as she started folding up her and arranging her stuff.
Helen also followed suit, she quickly gathered her stuff and ran to her room to put it all the way, she quickly opened her room door. Arranged all her books and put some of the books in her bags, for her classes tomorrow.
Athena also did similar things. She had arranged her stuff. She also put her laptop in her bag. She Was worried that Maria or someone will look through her room and might find her personal stuff.
Therefore it would be better to take it along with her rather than wait for the worst to happen. Even though she thought and hated the fact of having another extra weight of 1.5 kg on her shoulders. But it was safer to keep the belongings with her, rather than repent later.
As Athena walked out of her room, she found Helen standing outside, when was probably waiting for her to show up.
They both walked down the stairs together and went to the dining area which was in the room next to the living room.
The couple were happily seated and had started their dinner together.
When Ham saw his two daughters together he was really happy. He really wanted for the two sisters to get together, no matter what happened in the past; it was all right now. All that mattered now as they were a happy and loving family.
He mood greatly improved, after looking at the family environment. He also liked the new decor, it was not like before now it gave off a rich vibe. His mood improved during the whole dinner.
He was able to buy off 1% of the HAOP, this was a successful business that had been around for more than a decade. He was so happy that he was able to invest in the company.
The dinner continued happily, with the maids serving dinner along with steward Xuan's supervision. Han talking to his family making the atmosphere even warmer.
