Unfortunately, the smirk painted on the masked man's face vanished when a red flaming arc descended from above and was seemingly aimed towards his stomach to split his body horizontally into half.
"Burning Strike: Red Flame!" A girl shouted, grudgingly.
Fortunately, in the last second, the man was able to twist his other hand and use a dagger to shield himself from the attack. His frown faded and was replaced with a smile, even after being barely able to deflect the flaming attack.
"Not bad--" The masked man chuckled as a girl with reddish hair suddenly appeared in front of Ashley. Yet, in a blink of an eye, the masked man's body split perfectly vertically into two causing his internal organs to ooze out to the ground.
"Captain Paul! You don't need to interfere!" The girl complained as she swung her sword to remove the flames on its blade. "I can handle them... At the least!"
Hi guys, I hoped that I was able to deliver the entrance of the treants properly.
To be honest, that moment when the treants stood from one side, and the United Asian Force on the other side had excited me so much, even months ago.
I just simply can't explain that feeling of excitement that they gave to me. Especially, that when I was thinking of this scene, I was having a hard time thinking of a way to help Pedro and his force to fight the seemingly endless army of the United Asian Force!
And It was at that point that I realized that Treants were something they should not underestimate. Like the trees here in our real world, they play huge roles beyond what we could imagine.
I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter too... Do tell me what you think about the Treants and how they might affect the future of the war, in the comment section.
