The intro vid. is almost two minutes long. It starts off with the screen turning black. Counting to ten, a loud explosion will ring three times. Those thunderous explosions almost exploded the speaker the first time because a certain one cell organism liked to bomb the whole mansion with pop music, and always forgot to lower the volume afterwards.
For the first explosion– a scarlet fireworks of blood appeared on the screen with a black silhouette of a hood man carrying a scythe facing the front. The blot of blood looks so realistic that Zyair felt disgusted every time he saw this introduction video.
The second explosion has the same blot of blood but not the same pattern, and the silhouette this time is a hooded man holding a book with both hands facing the right.
The third time is the loudest explosion of blood filling the whole screen red. It's too HP that Zyair can see sticky red liquid trailing down at the other side of the screen. It's like the computer screen is a glass and there's a murder scene going on at the other side of the screen.
This should make a pretty creepy scene but Zyair only watched all these with his blank face and veins popping out from his forehead.
Fortunately, this blood filling and blood trailing scene only happens within 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the blood will completely wash out, revealing a completely different background at the end. It was a scene that seems to be cut in a certain movie, that was edited to be seen as a dark and gloomy picture.
The whole background is dark and red. Like the night was bleeding in blood, dyeing the whole sky black and red. And there at the center, a red moon.
The first time Zyair saw that moon, he became nostalgic. When Qantas picked him up, Qantas gave him a wonderful bedroom with a huge bed full of stuffed toys and glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling. There's a huge crescent moon at the center that glowed red instead of yellow and white like what Zyair could see in the night sky. And the stars also glowed red with faint white halos surrounding them. Very much like the sky in the introduction video of this game.
However, Zyair just felt like recalling his good old childhood days, he never thought of associating these two things. For a single cell organism, Zyair already did a wonderful job recalling those small details in his past.
Anyway, the neon red moon first appeared. It also has its own grand entrance. That crescent moon came in like some monkey threw it like a boomerang. It circled the screen around while rotating until it stopped at the center, finally resting in place with it curling upwards like a smile. And the stars that are scattered in that bleeding dark sky, that also glow red with faint white halo surrounding it, also have their own entrance part.
Those stars pop out like pimples in the face. Pop! There's one. Pop! There's two and it's larger than the first one. Then pop! Pop! Pop! Pop! Until it filled the sky like what it is now. The screen stayed like that for at least 3 seconds. Enough for Zyair to see the stars twinkling and blinking in succession.
Then after 3 seconds, like trees, black buildings sprouted out from the four corners of the screen, filling all corners with tall and short buildings. Then it magnified. The scene zooms in and runs along the buildings like it's touring the audience around.
It was a city. And nope, the buildings did not only sprout in four corners but in different angles as well. It's like the whole city is basically built in floating cubes. Both six sides are filled with buildings. And the reason why there's a building that could be seen upside down is that there's a cube floating above another cube.
This isn't Zyair's speculation but Qantas. For Zyair this scene seems to be just like the Mirror Dimension in Dr. Peculiarity. After the tour, the video runs in a certain direction. Towards the Galaxy bridge, or so, Zyair called it. It looks like a certain movie's rainbow bridge, but its color is black. It sparkled white lights like a milky way galaxy every night.
The video speeds up, zooming through the long galaxy bridge. And at the other end, like Zyair thought, the first time; especially since there's already the Thunder God the Movie as a reference. A huge ancient door stood erect at the end of the Galaxy bridge.
As for the appearance of the huge door. Zyair could compare them to a certain anime. Filled with complicated curving, like how the door from Full Body Metal Armored Alchemist is. It also opened the same way. The door in the introduction video opened, not slow or fast. It's enough to describe it in one word– dramatic.
Blinding light came as the door opened dramatically. Accompanying with a "shuuahhh~" sound of air flow and light shining sounding "shinnng~". Zyair, who was watching this couldn't help but have his lips twitched in irritation. He was getting impatient already. It's just the intro vid. what about the whole game. Zyair could already see this pitiful computer being smashed to pieces.
But he has to endure. He held his hand in his chest, breathing in and breathing out. He meditated and calmed his surging irritation as the video continued to play.
As the blinding light filled the entire screen, a fierce slash sliced the light into two. Then a black hooded individual carrying a huge dark red scythe appeared. He wields his scythe like Maka dancing with Soul. And with another slash, the scene changes. Starting with the straight scar caused by the scythe's slash, the scene seems to stop at a white screen with a straight line in the middle. But as the seconds mark the fourth, a sound echoes. It was soft at first then it became much louder. It was the sound of a book being opened at a fast speed. Then the picture moved as the sound got louder. It slowly zoomed out. The white picture with a straight line in the middle turned out to be a book being turned page by page in speed where it seems to be not moving at all. It was minimized until another black hooded individual was revealed to be holding a black book with blank pages in both his arms.
Then he seems to see the camera, as the black hooded man with a book suddenly looks up, revealing a slight opening in his hood. Within the abyss of the dark, two dangerous red lights shone.
Bam! The hooded man closes the book with a loud sound at the same time he looks down once again.
Then he opened the book again. A star magic wand appeared, swirling around flying on top of the opened book. Then it zoomed in, making so, only the book and the wand could be seen. The wand stopped and it waves itself like it's casting a spell. Bright stars fall from the star at the top of the wand as it waves itself. At the end it points itself at the book and an explosion of stars happens. A clear shining crystal ball appeared.
And as if that crystal ball could suck anything in it. The video appeared to come closer and closer towards the crystal ball, until it was sucked inside.
Finally, inside came the main menu.
"Phew~" Zyair held the mouse again, while he positioned his other hand onto the keyboard.
"Well, then let's bloody start this b*tch!"
