It was a nice morning and Wang Wei woke up with the sun shining on his face. He stood up and had his breakfast. After that, he went to Lu Piao's residence. They promised that today would be the day that they would go into the city.
"Lu Piao are you awake?" Wang Wei yelled as he banged on the door.
There was no answer. But he did hear some sound coming from the backyard.
It came from Lu Piao. He was practicing some moves on a dummy.
Wang Wei immediately recognized the martial arts Lu Piao was practicing. It was Jongh martial arts!
"Lu Piao, I'm surprised that you know Jongh martial arts." Wang Wei said.
"Huh?" Lu Piao said. He had no idea that Wang Wei was standing next to him, as he was so immersed in his practice. "Oh, yeah. We got some scrolls from the holy leopard family. So I've been practicing them non-stop."
"I see." Wang Wei said. "No wonder you were so strong yesterday, keep up the good work."
"Thank you."
"Alright let's go." Wang Wei said as he walked in the direction of victory city.
They arrived in the city pretty quickly, because they were both martial artists they could travel faster than the ordinary human.
"Okay, here we are." Lu Piao said. "Where do you want to go first?"
"Let's go to that shop over there." Wang Wei said as he pointed to a weapon shop.
When they entered the shop there weren't many weapons that caught Wang Wei's eye. But he did see one sword with a peculiar gem embedded.
"I want that one." Wang Wei said as he pointed to the sword.
"Okay, that will be ten silver coins." The shopkeeper said.
'So cheap. He probably doesn't feel the strange aura coming from it.' Wang Wei thought to himself.
"Here you go." Wang Wei said as he handed over the ten silver coins.
When they stepped outside Wang Wei turned to Lu Piao.
"This is for you." Wang Wei said.
"What? I can't take that." Lu Piao said.
"Just take it, it has a peculiar aura, and I think that you can use it to its fullest potential." Wang Wei said.
"Okay, thank you." Lu Piao said.
It was at this moment that Wang Wei felt a peculiar aura. He didn't know who or what could produce it so he was very intrigued. He immediately followed the aura.
"Young master, where are you going?" Lu Piao said.
"Just follow me." Wang Wei said.
When he got closer the aura would grow stronger and stronger. Suddenly Wang Wei stopped. He saw the origin of the aura. It was a human with a cloak on so he couldn't see whether it was a male or a female.
"Hey, you!" He then shouted out.
The person in the cloak turned around. "Me?" the sweetest voice said.
'What a sweet and gentle voice!" Wang Wei thought to himself.
"Yes, you. Can I have talk with you?" Wang Wei said.
"As long as it isn't in the open." The girl said.
"Okay, I know a place. Follow me." Wang Wei said.
They arrived at a tea house where Wang Wei requested a private room. When they walked in the girl turned around.
"He has to leave." She said as she pointed toward Lu Piao.
"Okay. Lu Piao could you step outside please?" Wang Wei said.
"But…"
"Step outside please." Wang Wei said before Lu Piao could finish his sentence.
After Lu Piao stepped outside the girl took off her cloak. She had a beautiful figure and a pretty face.
After a few seconds of admiring her beauty, Wang Wei finally said something.
"Name."
"What?" the girl said. She was also in a daze. She could finally see Wang Wei clearly and he was way more handsome than she thought.
"Uhm, what is your name." Wang Wei said.
"Oh, I am Mei Ying." Mei Ying said.
"Nice to meet you, I am Wang Wei." Wang Wei said. "Where do you come from."
"I can't tell you that." Mei Ying said.
"That's okay, I am the young master of the red fire-dragon family. You are probably wondering why I called you out." Wang Wei said.
"Yes, a little bit." Mei Ying said.
"Well, I called you out because I could feel a peculiar aura coming from you." Wang Wei said.
"You can feel that?!" Mei Ying said with a surprised look on her face.
"Is that weird?" Wang Wei asked.
"Yes, only people with ancient dragon-type bloodlines can feel the aura I give off. And you are telling me you can feel it?" Mei Ying said.
"Well, my family did fight in the first demon war, and my ancestor did put the seal on the demon realm." Wang Wei said. "Is that ancient enough?"
"No, not by a long shot. But in my family, there are tales of a fire dragon but I don't know if that is your family or if it is a family that went extinct a long time ago." Mei Ying said.
"Are you a soul expert by any chance?" Wang Wei asked.
"Yes, I am a level twenty-nine chi fighter. I came here to find something for my breakthrough." Mei Ying said.
"Really, I am also a level twenty-nine chi fighter. And since I am the young master of one of the city's three major families I can help you with what you're looking for." Wang Wei said.
"I doubt that. I am looking for a small dragon statue with a pink scale on top of its head." Mei Ying said.
"What?! I know where that is." Wang Wei said.
"Really? Where?" Mei Ying said.
"It is in my family's treasury, it doesn't help my family what so ever. But the patriarch says that it is a gift from another family which had a close relationship with our family in ancient times." Wang Wei said.
"Can you take me there?" Mei Ying asked.
"I can, but first I need to know where you're from." Wang Wei said.
"Okay, I'll tell you because I trust you." Mei Ying said. "I am from the pink dragon family. It isn't really well known but we are really strong. We reside in the high mountains three days from here."
"Okay, thank you for telling me." Wang Wei said. "Now I will take you to the treasury of my family."
