She was sitting opposite the man but she has been feeling anxious since the CEO's eyes never left her. she could easily tell if a man was mesmerized by her beauty just by looking at their body language. However, she couldn't read what was on his mind.

Though he was looking at her, his face doesn't show any emotion. That's why she was perplexed. Charlotte had been talking about what had happen to her and her husband earlier but Alex wasn't sure if he is listening or what.

Charlotte has noticed Ethan's strange behavior but she chose to keep talking instead. She has this inkling that if she stops, then awkward silence will fill the atmosphere, that's for sure.

"Also, she was one of the reason why I wanted to talk to you."

Ethan creased his brow. that was the only moment he averted his gaze towards Charlotte.
