章 15: Am I still Alive? (1)
"Master! Lord! The creature is awake!"
Tadeo jolts out from his trance. He can hear his puppet's voice beaming beneath the walls outside the cylindrical room.
Mahalia is dreaming. But she hears sounds as if people are talking to her from unknown worlds outside her consciousness and it suddenly shifted.
Drifting off from a cliff... a perilous fall
That is the only glimpse of what Mahalia went through before waking up on a world entirely different from what she remembers.
She found herself laid down in a soft bed which was adorned with luxurious ornaments on its headboard. The sheats are that of expensive garment with dark green color.
The room is not that well-lit but it has the air of a top class hotel room, only what is odd is that the theme appears to be extracted out of the forest because of the tree bark just in the corner of the room on her left side, serving as a shelf and a place for a vanity mirror. Most of the designs and structure is grand and complimentary in green and earth color. Only her clothing seems to differ.
Is she dreaming? Because right now, with a satin elegantly embroidered white dress up to her toes, a crown made of little flowers, and her dark hair curled and braided with little shiny beads; she's dressed in an entirely different way. As if she's in those 'kingdoms' she usually see or read in fictional movies and books she loves.
"Master! Lord! The creature is awake!" a voice of a small and cute little girl with a pink pouty lips and thick eyelashes, but appearing quite robotic startled her and swept her away from her thoughts.
"Uh.. ahm" she tried to ask the girl who she is, where she is, what is she doing here and all other countless questions for her not to be confused of what happened but she didn't manage to make any word. Only few incomprehensible sounds.
She stopped trying and sighed deep inside instead. She instead looked at the door where the little girl is and she caught a glimpse of another existence rushing towards where they are. She doesn't know the guy but it is as if he recognizes this gaze, it all seems familiar...
