章 700: He Was Speaking Very Coldly, As If She Was a Stranger

Su Qianxun had bought Lin'er a new year present yesterday. She wanted to ask Long Sijue to hand it to Lin'er. After all, it would be the new year's eve tomorrow.

However, when she made the call, the phone kept beeping and eventually stopped. Long Sijue did not answer the phone. Su Qianxun furrowed her brows gloomily. She felt particularly dejected. 

Five minutes later, Su Qianxun's phone started ringing. She immediately answered the call. "Ah Jue."

"Yes?" Long Sijue's voice had a hint of coldness. 

Su Qianxun could sense it. Even though she still did know fully understand what kind of person he was, she could tell that he was speaking to her with an impassive tone, as if he was talking to a stranger. 

"I… I bought Lin'er a new year gift. I want you to give it to him for me." Su Qianxun felt a pang of sourness in her chest. 

"Hand it to Ye Gu. He'll handle it for you," Long Sijue said and simply hung up the phone.
