章 4: Bumpy Start
What's life like without a purpose. "I have a bone to pick with you because during your math test you started doodling! Now you may not have had the knowledge to know what to do with the last question but you shouldn't have left it blank! I would have told you to stop drawing but I thought you should learn your lesson!"
I'm flabbergasted I only got twelve wrong from fifty? I nod at my teacher's statement, I'm in shock. If she wanted to teach me a lesson then...
I shoot up from my seat,"If you really wanted to teach me a lesson then you should have told me to stop drawing and check my work, it would have shown me that I'm not supposed to draw after I'm finished and you would be able to help me correct my mistake, but now I might not draw for a while because I'm scared that it's the wrong thing to do! Also, I didn't get a half bad score on my test so I'm not quite sure why you're so disappointed! I tried my best and it wasn't good enough, I also tried to do the last question but rubbed it out because a former teacher had told me not to fail." Everyone is looking at me. It always happens like this. I wasn't drawing, I was writing a letter to my Dad.
I look down at my math paper, I'm very proud of the score, but the comment underneath makes me sick. I rush out of the classroom. My school is just next to Ellex Street, it's usually pretty quiet. I rush out onto the road. I didn't even see him coming.
