章 42: The Exchange

Luffy and Hancock left for Impel down. She planned on sneaking him in and then return quickly.

The Z pirates had already set up an area for the upcoming exchange.

Mark could be seen skipping over while he had a face full of smiles.

"Why do you look so happy?" A cold and curious voice suddenly entered his ears.

Mark looked up towards the sky as he saw a huge rock floating with the silhouette of a beautiful figure sitting on it. The figure obviously looked pissed.

It was Yuri.

"Haha, I just had some good wine that's all, that's all," Mark replied half laughing as he waved his hand. He looked like a thief that had just been caught stealing.

"Are everything.." Mark was about to ask a question when the huge rock suddenly flew away.

He just shook his head as he walked towards the camp.

A couple of hours later.

A marine warship could be seen docked outside of Amazon Lily, the marines didn't go past the 5-meter mark and instead waited outside of the island on the open sea. A couple of minutes later Z pirate could be seen arriving at the docks.

"Arara, what happened to the Empress of the island?" Aokiji asked curiously when he saw that the Z pirates arriving and not the real owners of the island the Kuja tribe.

"We borrowed a piece of land to stay on, this way!." Said the Z pirate with two rifles on his back as he showed the way.

Aokiji brought 20 marines on this exchange and the many prisoners, of course, the most noticeable of the prisoners was the man with the burn mark across his left ear which made him look quite cold-blooded.

This man was unexpectedly the self-proclaimed admiral Flint! He had obviously suffered some kind of an injury because he could be seen halting.

Aokiji and company arrived at a huge open space where hundreds of pirates could be seen doing anything from fighting in a man-made arena to playing cards and laughing, enjoying themselves.

"Oh, the guest is here!" A voice suddenly rang throughout the camp, and a black-haired man with blue eyes could be seen walking over with three people walking behind him.

The man was of course Mark. Z. Matheus "The Rookie Emperor!" And behind him was his crew members. Satyr jr, Yuri and Capone Gang Bege.

"Arara, you seem to be enjoying yourself! Matheus!" Aokiji said coldly as he looked at the buzzing camp.

He was a marine admiral and these people actually didn't treat him like one. Who do they think are? Underlings of an actual Emperor? Don't flatter yourself.

"Where are Smoker and Tashigi!"? Aokiji actually asked for them by a name indicating that he actually knew the people personally.

"Bring them out!" Capone yelled and suddenly four people could be seen coming out from his stomach, which actually scared the living shit out of the 20 marines.

Aokiji narrowed his eyes as he looked at Capone Bege. "What a weird power, paramecia type?" Aokiji thought.

Smoker and Tashigi both wore handcuffs. Smoker's handcuffs were made of sea prism stone because he was a devil fruit user.

When Yuri saw Flint's appearance she completely lost it.

"What did you do to Flint!" Yuri yelled as she pointed her finger at Aaokiji. A huge rock flew towards Aokiji at a fast speed.

His body immediately turned ice, as his body disappeared for a second before reappearing again standing at the same place.

"Arara, it's not good to attack someone who isn't prepared," Aokiji said as he placed both his hands in front of him and attacked Yuri.

"Ice Block: Partisan!"

Several spears of ice solidified in the cold air around him and then hurled towards Yuri.

"Earth Wall!" A cold voice rang out.

Massive defensive spike walls appeared in front of Yuri and defended the attack from Aokiji.

"Quite a defense you got there," Aokiji added while trying to gather some more ice.

"Hahaha! Are you trying to ignore me admiral Aokiji? I don't think it's such a smart move fighting us here! Don't you think so?" Laughter rang out as everyone turned their heads towards the one who just spoke.

The marines had sweat on their foreheads. The man in front of them was worth 1.5 billion berries. Who wants to face such a monster!

Mark looked at Aokiji with a cold smile.

Aokiji immediately stopped his attack. Of course, he knew it was a bad idea to fight here! The Z pirates full force were here and he only brought 20 men.

"Let's just get the exchange over with," Aokiji said as he grabbed Smoker and Tashigi then turned around.

"You really think you can just attack my people and leave as you wish, huh?" Mark said as he tilted his head to the side in confusion.

"Arara, what do you want then?" Aokiji said with a serious face.

"Try my attack!" Mark said calmly as he pointed his flat hand towards Aokiji.

"Kurouzu!"

Boom!

Darkness gravity began to pull Aokiji towards Mark.

"What, I can't use my powers??!!" Aokiji thought quickly as he was being pulled towards Mark.

When he was in front of Mark he got punched straight in the stomach, but the attack didn't stop there, mark continued by punching him in the face with Busoshoku Haki. After getting hit for a few times, Aokiji finally coated his hand Busoshoku Haki as he tried to defend himself.

"What!!!?" A marine yelled in complete disbelief.

"What he is actually beating up admiral Aokiji!" The marines thought while sweat was running down their foreheads and backs.

The attacks finally stopped after Mark threw Aokiji away with a kick to the face.

After landed far away from Mark's position, Aokiji powers returned.

Blood began to stream down his forehead.

"No devil fruit users are my opponents, this is the power of Darkness!" Mark thought excitedly.

Aokiji looked ugly, his face turned dark.

"Let's go!!" Aokiji said towards the marines while turning around. He knew that this wasn't the place to fight. He would obviously be defeated if he continued fighting here, not only Mark but Satyr Jr was also a major threat to him.

"I will get you back a hundred folds!" Aokiji thought with hatefulness.
