Michael wanted to sleep longer. If he can have his way, he would stay in the bed as long as possible and then enjoy the day with Oni.

But thanks to Oni's teasing he is awake; and based on her energy, she has something on her mind.

"What do you want to do?", he asked in defeat.

Oni was happy that he gave up on the idea of sleeping, but him asking her what she wants to do was confusing. Didn't they discuss their plans over dinner last night? And their plans for the next few days are missions, missions, and more missions.

"I thought we will spend some time in the bed, then have breakfast and start scouting that place. Is there anything else we should do?"

Michael didn't answer her question, but his expression told her that he is not excited about going on scouting missions.

He took her hand into his and observed her slender fingers. "You are not wearing any rings."
