章 79: No Right To Protest

Li Na got up with a mild headache. Low spirited, she laid unmovingly while staring at the grey ceiling for a while. Her swollen eyes vaguely took her surrounding into account when she saw the drizzly atmosphere outside the window.

It seems like last night, it rained. Li Na pondered. She blinked and sat up slowly looking outside freshness. When the comfy spread slides down her torse she noticed and her bleary eyes narrowed recollecting the silent encounter of the night. Her head snapped and gaze wandered throughout the bedroom to detect any traces of the man. But the bed looked cold and untouched and everything else at its place, like no one, had been there apart from her. Yet, she evidently knew Lu Jianjun was present in the room last night. She had felt his looming presence for a long time around her before she has fallen asleep again.
