章 401: Move mountains

In the blink of an eye, it was the night. As always Xiu Mei was sleeping in Feng Jianyu's arms, due to medicines it was already difficult for her to hold back her sleep and above that Jianyu's arms were another level sedative for her.

But Jianyu was trying to prevail over the wandering thoughts about his parents' involvement and Xiu Mei's explanation regarding his mother's mental situation. He keeps on adjusting his position, unable to fall asleep.

This was the first time when even Xiu Mei's calming fragrance failed to do the magic work. His gaze swept across her angelic face, so peaceful like an innocent baby.

"Sleep, coz when you'll wake up, you'll move mountains." His lips landed on her forehead, lingering there before he reluctantly pulled himself.

"Mmmm… I cannot move mountains without my monster's help." Probably because Jianyu was restless, Xiu Mei was not able to sleep. Her eyelashes fluttered as she looked up at him in half sleepy state.
