There are so many things I remember when I go to the north pole.
I'm the leader of scientist and physicians group sent by U.N in 1967 on the north pole. But we can feel the warm winds of cold war in that place. As our all team members are Americans Russian forces always feel very skeptical about us. I think they watches us as the intelligence members (spy) scented by American government. But we must have to rub this misunderstanding from their mind. Because the army or scientists sent by U.N are not servers of any country they serves for entire world for bring peace.
I remember a story. Once walking around our camp my team met Mark Antony found a fainted Russian soldier due to the hypothermia, he called me and all my team at that site. After checking him we found it is a critical condition. He was fainted for three or four hours. The temperature is also very low nearly - 27°C. He saved by his thick woolen sweater at this long time. First we give him some hot water and started discussing what to do. As relationships of our countries is not good at all some of us telling me to don't take the risk of saving him because if he dies in our camp, Russians can think we killed him and they might arrest or kill us all. But I remembered them the pledge taken by them while graduating from the college, "we are the doctors and it our risponsibility to rescue the patient who is in trouble, even if he is the enemy of our nation"
We took him to the camp and started treatment . In few weeks he awoke. He started feeling better than before. We gave the message to the Russian rescue team about him.
But the rescue team came and searched our whole camp. After that their mission commander came and apologized to us for their rough behavior.
After that insidance we can able to make their belief on us.
