Kokoro spun around to meet face to face with her husband, who had a gruesome expression on his handsome face, which made Kokoro fall for him, along with his money.
Kokoro looked between her stepdaughter and hubby with a frazzled look on her face, "I-i can explain."
Even though Kenta hated his weak daughter, she's still his daughter. And even thought Kokoro was his wife, she's not blood. And Kenta's number one rule is to protect blood, even against who you love or are higher above you.
Kenta walked towards Kokoro and wrapped his rough fingers around Kokoro's fat neck, "What are you doing to MY daughter?"
Kokoro choked and tried to rip Kenta's hand off her neck. When she realized that Kenta wasn't letting go, she stopped and instead tried to reason with him.
"Hu-ubby! You don't know my si-ide of the st-t-tory! She tried to hurt-t me while I was asleep! Hu-ubby! Let-t m-e g-go!"
Kenta unraveled his hands and Kokoro fell to the ground. A sharp bang came from Kokoro's knees hitting the hard, wood floor. Kokoro's face was pale and her lips was turned purple. She was choking as Kenta stepped over her body to walk towards her trembling, small daughter in the corner of the room, who has just witnessed this horrific scene.
Kenta patted her head and whispered, "Don't be scared. If your mother hurts you anymore, just come to me. I'm powerful enough, I'll protect you."

Miyu almost rolled her eyes and laughed out loud. Her father wanted to protect her? Who was more powerful than him? Hah! Hilarious!
Miyu let him pat her head, even though she wanted to throw up from disgust. Her insides twisted with the need to laugh and the need to vomit, but thankfully she was able to keep her mouth close and not let any of this happen.
Slowly but surely, all the people left her room. First, her father. Then Hanae. Then Kasumi along with her mother Kokoro, who she dragged out from the room with her arm. Then the maids. Then the tense atmosphere that had came with the crowd, but has also left with the crowd.
Miyu sighed as she hopped onto her bed and closed her eyes, her smile shinning like a thousand suns. Her happiness was through the roof, and all the way up to the heavens.
