章 2: Names
A wake up from my sleep with a splitting headache. I immediately check my surrounding if I have waken up from my the nightmare. To my surprise, I'm still here!
I thought I would've waken up from this nightmare already if I fall asleep here. But, it seems it didn't work. SIGH
SIGH
Hmm, did I hear someone else sighing just then? I look to my side and see a shining rainbow cascading down from the head of a most beautiful lady I've ever seen.
Wow! Where did this hot chick come from? She's directly looking at my eyes while sitting next to me in her simple white dress. Also, she's really close! To the point where most of my view is just her angelic face.
I immediately freeze up while being mesmerize by her looks. She continue to stare at me with those ever changing rainbow-color eyes, as if waiting for my reaction. Then, after a while she tilts her head to the side as if confuse over my reaction thus far.
A few more moment goes by of just staring at each other, I finally decide to speak.
Umm. Hello there.
The moment I try to open my mouth to speak no sound comes out. I can't even speak? Wait, is it because there's no air here? I kinda have a theory before that this place has no air to breath. Also, that's why the still air that I've thought earlier just means there's no air at all. So, in a sense, verbal communication is not possible. But, for some reason she tilts her head as if she just hear what I'm trying to say just now.
Is it a coincidence? I think not. Mostly because right now, I can kinda hear some voice inside my head repeating slowly of what I just try to say before. It's sounds soft and feminine. Most probably it's her's.
After the failure of communicating verbally, I could only try to smile with my utmost sincere to show my good intentions. At first, she didn't have any reaction. Then, a few seconds later,she just smiles back at me with the most purest smile I've ever seen. It's almost childlike. Again, I freeze by such a dazzling smile.
Trying to get a hold of myself, I straiten up in my sitting position and try to convey my thought through this unspoken communication somehow. To test whether she can really understand me.
'Hello there,' alright slow and simple words first.
'Hello...There?' Oh, she didn't hear me properly or she just doesn't understand?
'Y-Yes, hello. My name is Alto Ace,' she looks even more confuse over more of the words coming from me.
'Name? Alto? Ace?' She repeats what I said, slowly, as if trying to digest every single word at a time.
'Yes. Alto Ace,' I say so while pointing my finger at my chest. She gives me a blank stare.
'Alto Ace!' Suddenly, she shouts loudly in our telepathic communication with a bright smile while she points her slim index finger at me.
'Alto Ace!'
'Yes, Alto Ace,' I nod back at her while still pointing a finger at myself. Now, let's ask for her's.
'Your name?' This time I point a finger at her. Again, she looks confuse with her tilting her head.
'Name?' She points a finger at herself while looking at me with a blank stare.
'Yes, your name,' for a few moments she becomes quite.
'Name,' she shakes her head side to side. Wait, is she trying to say she has no name?
'Alto Ace. Name,' Hmm? What do you mean?
'Alto Ace. Name,' Again she repeats this while pointing her finger at me and then pointing it back to her. Is she trying to say I give her a name? I admit that, I have terrible naming sense. So, I'm not confident about giving her a name. The ones who I trust who can give a good names are my parents. I mean, Alto is a good name isn't it? Well, my parents aren't here. So, if you really want a name coming from me, I'll just give it my all.
Hmm...What's a good name for lady? Think, Alto! Think! I close my eyes and go into deep thought.
Remembering the words of my mom on how I got my name, she says that, it comes from a character in a phone game she once played. I was kinda bumped up after knowing that. She also said that, if I was born a girl she would've change it to Alta.
You know what. I take back about the capabilities of my parents in naming. Seriously, only changing it to Alta?
'Alta?' While I'm still thinking to myself, she suddenly says that while pointing a finger at herself. Hmm, did she hear my thoughts just now?
'Alta!' She looks really happy about it. Wait, I didn't mean to name her that.
'Alta! Alta! Alta!' Well, too late to change. It seems she likes the name apparently.
'Yes. Alta,' I nod while pointing at her. Once again, her bright smiles comes up but, this time she suddenly lunges at me and holds me tightly in her arms while giggling gleefully.
Once again, I just freeze not knowing what to do. Her bountiful chest is just squishing on me in her embrace.
Umm, help! What am I suppose to do?
