章 13: Getting "Abducted"
Song Yu had no idea that a Young Master was lusting after him. Therefore, Song Yu continued to walk hand in hand with Snow Angel, touring Flame City.
Flame City was a small city on Fire Continent. The city was mostly known as a place for cultivators, who hunt demon beasts in the neighboring forests, to come and sell their fresh kills. Corpses of demon beasts also had plenty of Heavenly Energy in their flesh, so it was normal for those who had average talent to try and absorb that energy to further their cultivation. However, this would cause their foundation to become unstable, thus geniuses would never choose to use such a shortcut to gain power.
As Song Yu took in the sights, he also observed the local population. From what he noticed, almost every citizen in flame city was not a cultivator. On occasion he would see a couple people who were in the first or second stage of the Dao Body Creation realm. Song Yu could not help but ask, "Sister, why are there so few cultivators? And why are they so weak?" To Song Yu who grew up in the Ice Jade Sect, he was always around cultivators. It was weird to see so many mortals.
"Little Brother, do you think cultivators grow on trees? In the Xia World the population is seventy percent mortal while only thirty percent cultivators. Not everyone has the talent to break into the Dao Body Creation realm."
Song Yu was surprised that this supposedly immortal world that he was born into had so many non-immortals.
Snow Angel seeing the confusion on his face, scoffed at his ignorance, "Do you think that everyone is as big a freak as you in this world? Some people spend ten years just to attain the Dao Skin stage, and that is considered slightly fast as well. Others will not even be able to sense Heavenly Energy in their whole lifetimes."
Song Yu put a big smile on his face, and felt that it was such a blessing he was born talented, "Sister lets celebrate our first adventure together with some delicious food!"
Still holding Snow Angel's hand, Song Yu dragged her towards a little place called Fire Fly Inn.
When the two entered the small Inn, the owner rushed to greet them. The owner was a plump, middle aged women, with red rosy cheeks and short black hair. When she saw the two customers walk into her inn she was dazzled for a short moment.
Song Yu saw that the lady was zoning out so he cleared his voice, "Table for two please."
The Inn Owner showed an embarrassed smile, "I'm sorry. You two beautiful young ladies can follow me right this way."
As the Inn Owner led them to a table, Snow Angel could not help but giggle while giving Song Yu a look of pity.
By now, Song Yu was used to the confusion about his gender. He did not find it necessary to correct the middle aged women. As long as he knew that he was a man, and that the women he was interested in knew it, then he didn't really care what others thought. Eventually, he was going to be an powerful immortal. If he really wanted to, he could just flick to death anyone who insults his appearance.
The Inn Owner sat the pair at a table by the window. She decided to give them the best table in her inn because she felt that they were not normal people.
The two sat down at the table and ordered some simple plates of food from the Inn Owner. As they waited for their food, Song Yu could not help but ask, "Sister, I've always wanted to ask, what realm of cultivation are you at?" This question had been bothering Song Yu. Ever since he's known Snow Angel he's seen her do impossible things that no one in the Ice Jade Sect could accomplish. Song Yu even had Little Bird scan Snow Angel, but the scans could not identify that there was even a person being scanned!
Snow Angel saw the curiosity on his face, and could not help but show a big grin, "Hohoho so Little Brother has finally noticed this Big Sister's amazing power! I would tell you but I'm afraid that you might die from shock!"
Song Yu's curiosity immediately disappeared. He was just wanted to know a simple question...
He felt that Snow Angel was acting too smug so he said, "How strong can a little snowman girl like you possibly be! Like I give a crap."
After he finished speaking her turned his head to the side and crossed his arms. He felt that this made him look cooler. He expected that Snow Angel would respond with a witty comeback, but after around fifteen seconds of silence he felt that something was off so he turned his head back towards her face. What greeted him were two eyes that chilled him to the bones. Snow Angel looked as if she were about to leap across the table to strangle him to death.
Snow Angel smiled like a wolf toying with her prey, "SNOW...MAN... You dare say it again?!"
Snow Angel had a major reverse scale. What she hated most in life, is people thinking that she liked snowman. She didn't understand?!
Song Yu was very confused... He looked at Snow Angel, be it her clothes, her jewelry, and even the mark between her eye brows, they were all shaped like a snowman. Right when Song Yu opened his mouth to ask her why she wore so much snowman accessories, two men kicked down the inn door, saving Song Yu's little life. They domineeringly walked towards Song Yu's table and said, "You right there, the Young City Lord has invited you to a private dinner. Let's go NOW!"
Song Yu looked at these two men. Little Bird told him that they were Dao Bones stage cultivators. Even though he was no match in a fight against them, he did not intend to go with them. Why? Well, he had a jogger-naught sitting across from him.
Silently sneering at them, Song Yu patiently waited for Snow Angel to magically make them disappear with a flick of her hand.
Again, things did not go as he anticipated. Snow Angel sat in her chair without saying a word. She did not magically wave her hand causing the men to disappear, instead she continued to glare daggers at Song Yu.
Song Yu felt that the situation was not looking very good for himself. Suddenly, he heard one of the men yell, "Grab her!"
The next thing he knew he felt four pairs of arms grab his body, lifting him off of his chair and into the air. He was just about to try and break free but he felt the world energy wrap around his body making him unable to move.
All while this happened Snow Angel was just relaxing in her chair.
The two men each held one arm of Song Yu. They looked at each other both showing a confused look on their faces, "Big Bro, what happened to the other girl? Where'd she go?"
"Little Bro, She was here earlier... She must have escaped when we weren't looking... Well we got one of them for Young Master... let's bring her back first."
Even though Song Yu was suspended in the air, and his body could not move, he was still facing the table. He could clearly see that Snow Angel was still sitting at the table... Could these guys clearly not see her?!
The guys turned to leave giving the Inn Owner a glare. She did not dare to make a sound. Even though they broke her door and kidnapped a costumer, she had no power to stop them. She just felt that it was a shame that such a beautiful young girl was going to be ruined by that disgusting Young City Lord.
Meanwhile, while Song Yu was being carried away by the two men, he heard Snow Angels voice appear in his mind, "HeHe Little Brother... I was going to save you but then I thought that this would be a perfect test... Don't be too scared, the World Energy will wear off in thirty minutes... Escape and I'll give you one reward, anything you want! Don't escape and well... hehe"
Song Yu was feeling quite angry with this whole parody, but he instantly had a change of heart! His eyes lit up, and his body would have started to shake if it could, as he thought, "Anything I want!! HAHAHA Bring it on!"
