Breakaway glass is a kind of brittle plastic that appears very similar to glass. It's mainly used as movie props. Breakaway glass can come in all shapes, sizes, and even colors. It could be anything from a shot glas to a vase to a champagne bottle.

There are however no real benefits to breakaway glass. They cost significantly more than normal glass objects and they're not nearly as deadly, dangerous or sturdy.
