The name google is a misspelling of the number googol. It is a one with a hundred zeros: 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

(Feel free to count and see if I actually counted 100 zeros 😛)

Google's market value was actually under Microsoft's in 2018. Google's parent company is called Alphabet and is worth $739 billion whilst Microsoft is worth $753 billion.

1.2 billion photos are uploaded to google and 3.5 billion searches are done each and every day.
