...'Well that's convenient.' , was the first thought Adam had as he opened his eyes and saw this message.
'So I guess yesterday wasn't just some bizarre dream.I really am the Gamer now huh?
Well It's finally time to get training.'

Deciding on this, Adam then set out to raid the fridge for supplies, getting a few bottles of juice, some snacks and water in the process.Taking a bag, he stuffed it all in.
'This looks too conspicuous, wish I had some sorta storage box to keep this all in.' He thought

Looking at the message box displayed in front of him( which somehow seemed condescending again ), Adam mentally berated himself, saying, "Of course it has a storage function, it's an rpg after all.
Mentally thinking 'Storage', he observed as a new message box opened in front of him, with miniature blue squares inside, along with a small floating 3D rendering of himself.

Taking out the food and putting them into the storage box together, he saw the similar drinks took up a single slot, and the snacks took another, the water bottles taking the last slot.
'Must be a stacking effect.' He thought

'Now, let's finally set off.' Adam thought as he put down the bag and left the kitchen.
Telling his mum he was going out for his 3 hours of exercise, Adam left the house and went to a nearby park.Going into the wooded and private area, he set out to experiment.
"Let's start with the basics I guess."
Getting on the ground, Adam started doing push ups.
After the first 20, he still felt totally fine.10 more and still going strong. At the 34th push up however, he suddenly felt like he'd just run a marathon, twice, back-to-back. Collapsing on the ground, he lay on his back while breathing heavily.
"What... just... happened.." He said.
'Wait.... could it be...', Having an idea, he checked his status page.

Getting back to his feet, he went back to exercising.Making sure to pace himself this time, and with the help of the bonuses from eating the food, He was able to last a lot longer this time (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

Looking at his sweating body, he noticed a few new cuts and muscle definition that hadn't been there previously.
"At this rate I'll be Superman in no time." Adam said, imagining himself using mountains to do squats.
"Or probably not. It's gonna get harder and harder to gain STR points cause of diminishing returns, and also the fact that I'll eventually run out of stuff to lift discreetly. But I'll still become super strong. Maybe I can even get some Perks from it."He said to himself.

'Wow.... what a rush.' Adam thought to himself as he breathed heavily in stasis.
After pushing himself for the whole morning, doing push ups, squats, pull ups using tree branches, and sprinting as fast as he could, this was the result.He'd used up all his food supply is the first hour and a half, and had to spend the remaining time training till he entered was very near stasis, then wait till he recovered fully to continue.

Aura Strike(Active)[Lv. 3 Exp. 29/40]
The most basic attack used an awakened, it is also useful for setting a foundation for aura use and control, before they learn to achieve releasing aura outside the body.Then this skill is inevitably forgotten and left un-mastered. The user reinforces an object or part of their body with aura, then unleashes a powerful strike on their opponent.
Increases attack of reinforced object by 53%( +1% per level)
Cost: 25 SP per use ( -1 SP per 5 levels)
The sprinting skill, obviously was gained by him repeatedly running as fast as he could multiple times.The Aura strike however, was gained by accident.He'd picked up a tree branch, closed his eyes and focused as hard he could to make it glow and shoot out spells like a certain wizard. Shouting out words like..... Avada K*d**ra. After embarrassing himself for a while, he finally gained this skill which wasn't what he had intended to get at all.
'Aura strike seems quite powerful though, especially when it's mastered. 150% increase to an attack means the attack would be 2 and a half times more powerful than usual, so why does it keep being abandoned ?' Adam wondered to himself.He then proceeded to test out the skill to find out.
'Hmm,I guess I can kind of understand why this skill isn't used.It's extremely short range.
The skill only works on the object that it's been activated on, and nothing else. That means if you're fighting a long ranged opponent, the skill will be useless.And with the existence of magic, I'm betting that there's a lot of magicians out there, which makes this skill powerful but not worth it. I guess it makes sense why "awakened" would choose something more practical instead.

'I'll still level it up though. With no other skills to use, there's not really any harm in practicing with it.Having a good hard punch as a surprise attack wouldn't be bad either, and I'd still be able to use the skill on some opponents who are close range fighters.'

Having recovered, Adam got up while saying this.Dusting himself off, he turned and started jogging back, periodically activating Sprinting for a few seconds to train on the way home.
'I should go check out some fighting videos, maybe I can learn something. Or read some books on wizardry or something, If I can find some.' Adam thought to himself, as he quickly went home
