After Vikram disconnected the call, Akira kept staring at her phone screen for no reason for a while.

Life had become so tumultuous in this last couple of days for her that she had no time to breathe or think about anything sane.

She tried to call Raymond again, but his phone was switched off.

This time she didn't panic because she knew that he would probably be on a flight to New York.
