The high pitched voice on the other end of the line, made Sheng Ying sit up in bed, the tiny cobwebs of sleep cleared out of her eyes in an instant.

"Zhe, what is the matter? Why are you calling so early in the morning?!"

"Yu's parents came here last night to take Liena with them."

"And you are just telling me now?! Why didn't you call either me or your dad when they came?"

"Mom! Listen to me! They have full custody of Liena!"
