She breathed in deeply and waltzed straight into the dining room where a wide array of plates were set out before her. She took a secret bite of the food and nearly dropped it when a frosty voice sniped, "You're late."

She turned around and was met with a thin-lipped, fire-breathing dragon with burning eyes. His flawless profile, resembling a fine piece of art, was twisted into a disgruntled expression. Upon seeing the food in her mouth, he added, "How's the food?"

"Oh, it's delicious—"

"It's cold." He snapped, like an angry housewife.

Zhao Lifei blinked. She turned to look at the food and could see the tiny puffs of air that indicated warmth. She chewed the food in her mouth and swallowed. "Really? It's perfectly fine for me." She said, not understanding why he was so angry.
