章 257: Seize Him

Yang Feng placed his pen down right when a knock echoed in the office room. He pressed a button and in walked Chen Gaonan with a ghastly expression on his face. Beads of cold-sweat could be seen on his forehead. Today was a day of betrayal.

"President Yang, the files you've requested from the bank have been discovered. Hackers tried to destroy the evidence, but our team managed to retrieve it." Chen Gaonan gulped. His fingers clenched the envelope because this would determine his boss' fate with Zhao Lifei.

"Who is it?" Yang Feng got back to work. He did not plan on paying a lot of attention to his secretary. There were a lot of documents which needed to be looked over by him.

"It's her father." 

The silence was deafening.

Chen Gaonan trembled in his shoes when the air around the room became destructive. He repeatedly wiped the cold-sweat off from his forehead with a handkerchief.
