Master Yao Lao instructed Gu Juexi to put Xixi down on the bed. His mind was numb from the shock and he moved like a mindless robot following instructions.

Master Yao Lao removed Xixi's pajamas and started the acupuncture.

Gu Juexi took Ye Yuwei's hands and wrapped them tightly in his own, silently offering comfort.
