Although Catherine had said somethings she didn't mean James still knew he was at fault, so his anger wasn't directed at Catherine it was at himself.
Walking past Nathan, James took the stairs to his office trying to burn some of the energy and rage he still had in him. Ha hadn't realized Nathan was following.
"What exactly happened? I'd never seen you two fight like that." Nathan asked getting ice from his friend.
"It's my fault." James replied a big calmer than he was before.
"Well if you know it's your fault why didn't you make it better?"
"We both need to calm down. I need to work."
Nathan took the hint loud and clear knowing James wanted him to leave.
"Alright, let's talk later."
After Nathan left, James finally slumped into his chair swirling to face the floor to ceiling window.
He noticed something was wrong with Catherine after the warehouse incident but when he asked she looked him in the eye, smiled and said everything was fine that she had been in worse situation and he believed her.
But now he realized he fell for his baby sister's lies, he didn't know what happened in the warehouse and she certainly wasn't going to tell him now.
Throwing himself back into work he decided to stay at his office overnight, he had clothes to change to available in office and besides Katie was going to see her parents so he didn't have a reason to go home.
Katie and Samuel drove to their parents house together. When they arrived their parents where already standing outside waiting for them.
The couple pulled their children into the house, they had a lot to explain concerning their uncle Albert.
Father Zhou began to explain "when they were younger Albert was more into clubs and parties than he was with school and making something of himself because he always knew that he was the first child and he would automatically get to be the next patriarch of the family, while I planned on joining the military when I was eighteen which I did.
Then one day sux years after I'd enlisted, my father asked me to come home urgently and I pulled out of my post. When I got home, I heard my brother had overdosed from drugs and this wasn't the first time.
When he was discharged from the hospital my father said he had two options. One was he traveled abroad to a private rehabilitation facility or he go to prison for possession and usage of hard drugs. Then my father turned to me and said he wanted me to be the next patriarch of the family because he was too old and needed to rest with my mother.
Looking at my frail father, I wanted to punch Albert for putting father through so much while I was away but I knew I had to accept. Seeing what was happening Albert started shouting and launched for my father but thankfully I was there and I gave him a punch that knocked him right out. He was taken to his room to recover and the next morning he was gone, he just disappeared. I wanted to look for him but father said he was a grown man and not my responsibility.
But now seeing what he did to my baby girl I wished I had gone after him." Father Zhou's voice began to shake.
The family of four talked so more, comforting and clearing every issue.
Katie stayed the night but James decided to go to Catherine instead.
When he arrived at Catherine's townhouse she wasn't home and he decided to wait but he hadn't envisaged how long the night was going to be.
Standing in front of a pure white apartment complex was Catherine and Liam. They walked into the building taking the elevator to the first floor which opens into an apartment.
Lea and Lina where already in the apartment waiting for Catherine, immediately she arrived they were slightly surprised but being as trained as they were they easily asked it. Catherine hadn't come here with her red locks but instead her natural colour.
"Hey girls, how was your flight? Hope you are well rested because I have a job for you."
