章 66: 65-Start of an Era
I have been roaming for a while,it was 2008 and i was sure that the events of Iron Man should be starting soon.And i was prepared for that.Imagine my surprise when a few days later i saw the news of Tony Starks kidnapping while getting a hair cut.
"Served him good."said the Barber.
I was shocked to see this kind of image of Tony infront of the people
"Why?"I asked him.
"He has been making these weapons of destruction all his life,these weapons do nothing but cause pain.Imagine with all the resources,money and intelligence he has what all he can do but no he is just busy making money and being a wastrel."
Well I can't refute that,Tony was all what the Barber said right now but with time he will change.Well I don't see anything that i would like to change in the events of Iron Man.So i did the best thing i could do for me,I bought shares of Stark Enterprises, apparently their prize had dropped cause of Tony's kidnapping.I bought just because i wanted to show off infront of Tony later on and be cheeky,i had no other reason to do so.But imagine my surprise when i saw that someone else was also busy buying,but i outdid him,i was pretty sure it must have been Obadiah so as to become the majority holder.I became one of the major shareholder in Stark Enterprises and arranged for a meeting with Obadiah Stane.
Obadiah and i had a meeting in the board room of Stark building.
I deliberately arrived late as a power move and saw Obadiah and Pepper waiting for me.
"I am so sorry for being late,traffic was crazy.By the way nice to meet both of you."i told them while extending my hand to shake with Obadiah.
"Nice to meet you too Mr.Vali,I am Obadiah Stane and this is my assistant Ms. Pepper Potts.And no need for any apologizes.Traffics crazy at this time of the year."
I then greeted Pepper and went on to talk with Obadiah.
"Forgive me but Mr Vali,i hadn't heard about your name ever before your purchase of our shares could you tell me about your background"asked Pepper.
She's a sharp one,atleast better than Obadiah in that matter cause she tried to find my background.
"Well Ms.Potts,I am usually a silent partner in many businesses and prefer to keep a low key that's why you must not have heard of me."
That answers seemed to satisfy Stane but not Pepper.I changed the subject soon.
"So Mr.Stane, let's get to businesses here,tell me what are your plans to stabilize the share prize which is dropping so fast?"
Stane then went on to explain to me how the prizes will be stabilized and he did say one more thing
"We are also coming with a special new product later on."boasted Obadiah
"Oh what is it and who is developing it?"I was pretty sure it would be something he would have forced Tony to build in his captivity.
"Well i won't tell you much about it cause it's a secret but look forward to it."
With that we talked for a while after which i wished them farewell.
{Obadiah POV}
Who does he think he is to make me wait for this long, had he not intervened,i would have been the major shareholder right now.I have to think of some way to get rid of him later just like Tony.Speaking of Tony,i must force him to give me something to stabilize the prizes of the share.

Captain_Nemo do you all need me to write what all happened in movie,like the scenes of Tony in captivity cause they would be the same as in the movie and I don't want to write useless words just to increase words count as you all must already know what happen in the movie?
