概要

Essairyn had never felt truly alive on Earth. It felt like something was missing ever since she was born, but even after nearly 20 years of mundane living, she could never pinpoint what this or the emptiness in her heart was.

Suddenly, she awakens in a grandiose, primordial forest and encounters both demons and spirits in a parallel world called Sol'h'meyr. She befriends, in particular, a sassy fox-spirit named Akari who just reincarnated after three millennia.

Essairyn is an abnormal human with elemental powers, and Akari is being chased by those of her dark past. Together, they set out on an adventure in a world of magic, danger, mystery, and intrigue.

But this not a game. That simple adventure is actually the modest beginnings in a chain of disruptions that tear even the dimensional fabric of time and space. No one, not even Essairyn, was who she thought she was. And not even the gods can change the destiny of the universes...

A single promise shook eternity’s existence.

— Fantasy || Adventure || Romance || Action || Mystery || Drama || Science Fiction —

The My World To Live (MWTL) series, the alternative short name is Canaan, is comprised of three books symbolically named My World, To Live, and My World To Live. Two years prior, the entire story had been planned and detailed out from start to finish before actual writing. Thus, updates might be slow after a period of time due to real life matters, but the story will never be dropped.

While the genre is largely Fantasy, the book is comprised of many other elements including a School Life (Magic Academy) story portion. MWTL has a lot of scattered symbolism and allusions, hence, the mystery aspect. The science fiction elements progressively become more pronounced, and the slow romance is a late bloomer.

The female lead is strong and independent, and her backstory and identity unravel as drivers of the plot. Expect lots of action/fighting throughout and scattered philosophical and psychological themes arising. It's a human journey to find the essence of one's living and purpose. What kind of world do I wish to live for?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I hope to share the journey with you~!

This review is done as a swap. Although I’ve ready fantasy stories before, this story is still quite different from the fantasy stories I’ve read but in a good way. I guess I was expecting more of the typical xianxia novels since that’s what I’m used to reading. However, this novel gave me more of a RPG-feel, kind of like playing Final Fantasy. Writing – 5/5 You have a good command of English and grammar. Your writing is succinct and accurately paints a picture of the world you are trying to create. Some few errors here and there but so minimum it’s negligible. I wish the chapters were longer but this is a personal preference since I’m used to reading longer chapters. Characters – 4/5 Essairyn – She’s pretty easy-going, adventurous and curious, can fight when needed, and quick to adapt, although in a way I thought that kind of makes her a tad bit unrealistic. I understand the prologue was trying to paint how the heroine was bored by the mundane things on Earth, and has a yearning for something more exciting to happen. And then when she was transferred to this new world filled with magic, spirits and demons, it fulfilled the yearning for an adventure of hers. However, a tiny part of me couldn’t make peace with how it was so easy for her to let go of her life on Earth, especially her loved ones. In the beginning, I also thought it was quick how she just accepted this new world and kind of acted as if she was part of this world to begin with. After reading the chapter mentioning Cyrienne, I wonder if Essairyn has any relations to this god considering her ‘anomalies’. Maybe she was originally from Sol’h’meyr, which could somewhat explain her indifference (probably even excitement) in leaving Earth and her easy acceptance for this “new” world. Akari – My favourite character actually. She’s kind of haughty at times but also really adorable as she tries to look out for Essairyn. At certain times though I feel a little suspicious of her character and intentions for tagging along with Essairyn. Especially since everyone’s been saying this fox has got a not-so-good reputation in the previous life. Anyways, I’m curious about the back story, about why she had to reincarnate so many times. Darren – Honestly, I don’t know what to feel about him for now since he just appeared. I don’t know if his appearance is coincidental or for a reason, so I guess we will see. Although I have to say I find his reactions toward this whole new world more believable than the heroine. Also, I think I got a bit confused with the boy named Gerran/Jerry. I was confused with the interchange of these two names. Story – 4/5 As it is still fairly few in chapters, I can’t say much about the storyline other than the heroine and her entourage traveling the kingdoms and learning things as they go at the moment. I’m sure there’s something big the author is planning as the story progressed but so far, so good. I’m fine with the progression of the story as I prefer flushed out character development and taking time to build the world rather than fast-paced updates just for the sake of it. World – 5/5 The author has put a lot of thought and effort into creating the world with its own language, places, species, government and political/magic system. It’s already hard to write a normal modern-day setting fiction but in a completely new world takes a lot of imagination so kudos to the author. Updates – 5/5 In general I don’t have an issue with respect to original novels’ update since I know it’s not easy to write a novel. Sometimes there’s no motivation, writer’s block, life gets in the way, etc. I totally understand. For me, I don’t put much weight on rating update speed. Maybe it’s also because I have a whole bunch of novels to read so it’s actually better, for me personally, that updates are not too quick and spaced out. All in all, I really enjoy this story and was pleasantly surprised because this is something different from the stories I usually read. This story makes me reminisce about the days when I still played Final Fantasy and the whole mystery/adrenaline of going on an adventure with the characters. So I’m definitely going to be following this story!

My review is not typical, I wrote what I thought after reading several chapters. Sinoptis, fascinates the reader. Definitely in the novel there is some kind of mystery, intrigue ?! Since now is the 21st century, the reader has a large store of knowledge of different stories, so you can build hypotheses and sentences, who is this protagonist? He is not what they say he is? And what do they consider him? Involuntarily want to know about it. And here I, the reader, am going to read the first chapter. First chapter. It amazes from the very beginning with a detailed description of the rain, tells the philosophy of falling water, is written very vividly and figuratively. In the epoch of visualization - the images in the novel sparkle with different faces! Very beautiful and spectacular images turned out! Yeah ... A world of fantasy, ambition, desire, they all stumble upon a gray reality and as a rule break into small pieces. Sometimes they manage to gather to dream again. Every schoolboy wants to go on a trip someday, to visit several countries. In reality, this becomes possible in 5-10 years ... miracles happen, but you need not to miss your chance, get on that train, get on that car to realize your dream. But in real life, the train can easily get off the rails and rush into the abyss without a bottom ... Not everyone manages to survive and then get out of the abyss ... after that, the survivors have no ambitions, no desire to enter the world of fantasy ... They understand that the experience is far away not universal, that fantasy is another world, but reality is harsh. But without a dream, life becomes gray. The path of enlightenment is hard, but if you find it, life begins to play with bright colors. In the course of the author was able to reflect in the first chapter. Of the benefits - an amazing figurative thinking, building a colorful world, understanding of human psychology. Of the minuses - too detailed descriptions, there is no action, it hey appear a little later, a little later, the reader needs a little patience. We go further to the second chapter. Description of the forest, very detailed, as if you turn on the zoom mode, go to macro photography of objects. They are presented in the smallest detail, you can see how the cells work! You can even hear what these cells are thinking ?! It's fantastic! However, after reading historical dry reports, reading ancient road builders, I want action without water! It is in the novel available, but very slowly begins to gain momentum. Probably this is the author's idea? Read on for now! And here at the end of the chapter we see this action and it is interrupted at the most interesting! The intrigue is laid, what will happen next? And this is an interesting turn of events! A person finds himself for the first time in another world and not yet started living in this world can be easily eaten by a bear! Original start! Indeed, in other novels, a person falling into another world, immediately gets cheater effects, strength, mind. Money, opportunities to become a wealthy person from scratch. But try to survive in an environment unknown to him, without knowledge of the language, without knowledge of local traditions and rituals? For example in real world -at the beginning of the 19th century, one English colonel, who neglected the rituals in one Eastern country, and after suffering, hope for salvation, disappointment, was beheaded. This is a true story. And what would be in a fantasy world, where there are monsters, magic? Scary to think? But it seems I was distracted from the chapters. The author raised the topic of how a person without a super ability to survive in a new world! It is written fascinatingly, I continue to read! Alas ... the main character ... possessed magic ... poor bear, namesake ... he ran into the wizard ... no luck, poor bear! Hard trials have changed the character of the protagonist, described quite realistically. In the third chapter, the reader can learn about the rich inner world of the protagonist, his torment and torment. Becoming a new person. “She was optimistic and pessimistic; she was caring and indifferent; she was selfless and selfish; she was passionate and inadequate; she was sober; she was lost. ”so she was a human! People undergo tests, some of them having overcome them become better, stronger , others break. The main character was just a human, she did not break, but just wanted to move away from the problems. The main character’s aspirations for gaining an understanding of how life works are well described. Of course the magic power of the main character is cool! He can still fly through the air! Additional review will give only after reading the remaining chapters. But reading is fascinating and interesting, each new chapter turns out to be more exciting than the previous one. Respect to the author, a good novel turned out! ----- The stability of the update - the main thing seems to me to release a couple of chapters a week, but it is stable. Every day, it turns out not everyone can write, but even so that it is of high quality. So score 5 out of 5 stars. Story Development - the author has an unusual style, figurative thinking is well developed, deep detail, it seems at first that it is even deeper than it should. But after reading more chapters, comes the understanding that this is such a special style of the author. But I, as a reader, would like to see more activity, but this is only my vision, it is based on the fact that, like the protagonist of the novel, I have not read fiction for a long time, but read historical documents and books. Therefore, I would like to immediately move to the essence of history, facts, events, but in fiction a different approach. Evaluation if to be objective should be 5 out of 5. But even the reader can have a subjective evaluation, so 4 out of 5. Character Design: In my opinion, they turned out to be thoughtful, with a rich inner world, torments, reflections, while volitioning completely changes the main character. As if something had been removed from her seal restrictions. Volition turns out to be the "main leveling". The world was not fair, but when the Colt appeared, the world became just. So the magic has changed the main character. The rating is probably 5 out of 5 although there are certain questions, how did such a power appear? Due to suffering? Illnesses? But I liked the character design. World Background: It seems the world is described in more detail than was even required of it. Well, I wrote about this above, at the expense of macro filming. rating 5 out of 5. Writing Quality - The author knows English better than the reviewer, so I don’t undertake to rate., I’m not sure... probably 5 out of 5.

This review is part of a review swap and valid as of chapter 16. This one belongs in the transported to another world departement. Sure, marginally better version of old body and sudden access to magic, but for all practical purposes our heroine leaves Earth for fantasyland. At sixteen chapters the story is just beginning. We've barely seen the first adventure, but at least the hero's (heroine's) journey has begun. There's not much to say about the story since nothing much happened. Getting the feels of this new world, get a companion and hit the road. That's about it. It's mostly written in third person omniscient point of view, but sometiemes that author wavers and slides into TP limited. It's slightly disturbing, but not big deal. Now for the stars. Writing: Five stars. Starts off with a rich and flawless English. Then a sudden drop around chapter 11, but still executed in good English even after that even though some errors sneak into the text. Updates: Four stars. Began solid but from what I can see there haven't been any updates for a few days now. Story: Five stars. Not much to say really. It's really too early to rate story progression, but as a beginning there is nothing wrong. Some readers might find the pacing a little sedate. Character: Five stars. There are two of them at the moment plus spear carriers who might become supporting cast later on. The two main characters are nicely fleshed out. World: Four stars. Suffers from lack of story development. I'm not saying anything is wrong, but I can't hand out full stars to a world that isn't there yet. Give the story another thirty chapters and we're probably looking at a five star world when the story has progressed enough. Lastly, the beginning is quite simply a gorgeous read with the language used acting as character itself. As for the story I have no idea where it's going -- it's simply too early to tell.

Review for My World To Live. Writing: The writing was smooth and had an interesting flow. You used a lot of creative terms and imagery, and there was no blaring misspellings of punctuation mistakes. To emphasize, your use of imagery to show your main character, Essairyn's growth as she became accustomed to magic was really interesting and well done. I felt drawn in, as if I was there alongside her, learning how everything went. She felt naturally disposed to raise up her arm to wield magic, and it was believable didn't feel forced in a narrative manner. Rating - 5/5 ------------------- Stability of Updates: I'm very much like you. I don't think it's necessary to post daily chapters, as I know how difficult of a task that can be. It's such a mountain to climb, that I don't expect anything like that. As long as you keep a relatively consistent release schedule OR keep your audience in the know during longer breaks in releases, I'll give you full points. You're writing for free, in your free time, so I don't expect the impossible. Rating - 5/5 ------------------- Story Development: Your story is intriguing, at least up until I stopped. I'll continue reading, of course, I just wanted to get this review out of my queue and take the time to truly give a well-thought-out critique. The story may have been slightly slow, but that's also possibly because your chapter 4 and chapter 5 are really actually still just chapters 1 and 2, just spaced out a bit further. You definitely have a very creative style, but I found on occasion, you may have overused the exposition without much substance. That's perfectly fine, and it's something I'm guilty of myself, I only point it out because it does make your story move a bit slower. Rating - 4/5 (I would give it a 5/5 but I do feel there is slight room for improvement. I'll be checking back in often and would be more than willing to change the rating to a 5/5 in the future.) ------------------- Character Design: Essairyn is a fun and quirky character, but maybe shes just a bit too... unrealistic at times? I'm not sure how to explain this without being confusing. In the beginning, her reactions jump from shock and panic, concern, to pleasure and even full acceptance. She giggles and smiles upon seeing the dragonfly, but perhaps the wrong adjectives were used, because it made me feel disconnected. Like it was a conveyor belt of moments flying by, without much substance. I do really like how her backstory was built, though. The flimsy weak girl being able to do impossibly amazing things like use magic, fight, fly (or more jump backwards a bit, as I saw it). You felt free with her, and that was very well done. Also, I really like her name. Very unique, with a beauty to it. Rating - 4/5 ------------------- World Background: Your world is everything you advertised, and it was portrayed in the opening chapters so perfectly that I felt immersed. From the new species to the magic, everything about it was convincing and mesmerizing. Not much else to say, well done. Rating - 5/5 An overall wonderful story that's definitely earned its place on my Library. I look forward to new releases, and I appreciate the author for letting me the opportunity to review swap with them. This review is my earnest opinion, and I truly look forward to actually diving further in. (If this review contains any spoilers, let me know, I'll repost it with the spoiler tag enabled. I don't think anything here is spoiler-worthy, but I never know.)

Very nice. Your prologue really sets the reader of to a intriguing start, and it really refreshens the take on all those 'magic' novels. Story has a very fluent pace, and although I felt it happened a little fast, there is no saying that there will be even more information about the world and other inhabitants of where she is. Character- your mc really is a flower😂 or more precisely, very pure. I really admire this characteristic you have given her, for it will definitely allow for more thorough character development later on. World building - I really wish there was more chapters out, so that I could get a deeper grasp of the entirety of it! However, you have done a very good job explaining most in the early chapters + the ones to come. Grammar - as I always try and advise fellow authors to do, improve your already rich vocabulary! Your writing style is easy to read and also fluent. Doesn't really make me break out of immersion while I went through the available chapter. Release - weeeel you are pretty spot on for that. Can't really argue with sometimes taking a break from writing, as when pushing for 1chapter a day for longer amounts of time really tires you out' All in all, keep up the greatness, Author! :) you can definitely get far with this! All the best!

I like the novel so far. I felt I'm the girl itself. It was really good for the world building and the characters, especially the spirits. The things that I really like was one of the spirits, Akari. Akari's attitude was so cute.

Great read! I got hooked, and when I realize it I was already in the 10th chapter! Hahaha Anyways, this book gives off that exquisite writing style, very immersive. It's quite a unique feeling for books to take you from another place after reading just a few chapters! You definitely deserve more views! Keep writing!!! (o°▽°)o

Whoo! Isekai+Foxes=Cuteness. The protagonist and Akari's interactions are interesting. I'm looking forward to the future of where this takes. While there are only 16 chapters at the moment, there's a unique charm to the story's style. Grammar is pretty good and the story flows well. >3</

The beginning is intriguing ... BUT ... some dark ... the story clearly does not smell like a typical happy ending .... For the time being I will include it in the library, and I will honor it tomorrow. But judging by the Synopsis job is interesting. I will write a review after reading at least the first 10 chapters. respectfully

- Style & Grammar - The author made a remarkable work in his prose at the time of immersing the reader in the fictitious world, using a vast and rich vocabulary that paints a universe full of life and color, although at times it can prove a bit overwhelming. At the same time, it is difficult to come across grammatical errors or typos that would get in the way between the reader and the fantastic universe. - Story & Characters - This is where the greatest strength of this story becomes its greatest weakness. The approach of the author in the construction of his fictional world from a sensory experience exposes the lack of strong conflicts that allow the plot to take flight. The characters, on the other hand, look acceptable enough for what the novel proposes. The protagonist does stand out thanks to her light-hearted nature and her connection with the world and those with whom she bumps into along her journey. In other words, it's the ideal protagonist for the story the author wants to tell. - Overall - This is one of those novels that captures you because of its mystic nature and its air of escapism rather than its plot. Those looking for a fast-paced and page-turner story should refrain from giving it a try. On the other hand, those who seek to explore a fantastic and vivid literary universe will enjoy this proposal without second thoughts.

This story is rich and vibrant. It paints you the scene in a way that leaves the imagination so riled by the fae aesthetic and beauty. The story, from what I read, is inquisitive and good. It takes the reincarnation trope and runs with it but as much as I want to, I'm not really super into this kind of story. But if you're the kind that's big into fantasy and extensive worlds being unfolded in front of your eyes, this is the story to readm

This novel sure is intriguing. I really liked the prologue, the best part was its ending where there are few lines about dreams and imaginations. The story development so far is fascinating too. Impatiently waiting for the next update. Keep creating this world author. It was good to be there.

A fantastical travelling adventure with a unique cast of characters and world building. MC finds herself in a new world, which has different laws of gravity and other elements dissimilar to Earth. She befriends Akari who is her companion along her travels around the new world, Sol'h'meyr. The things I love about this story is the slow idyllic and symbolic beginning as the MC wakes up to the new world and goes through surprising quirks that wouldn't be possible on our world. Once MC mets Akari, a more natural pace assumes since the perspective now involves support character interactions. Some chapters left me in awe with adventurous feelings, like I was embarking out to a place with infinite possibilities. I also liked the RPG/game feeling some chapters gave me. Cache inventory is so cool. In other chapters, I was moved by the recycling of life. Akari is a perfect and quirky companion to guide Essairyn along their journeys. I think where I struggled with the story is my brain capacity. There was so much going on with new elements of imagination I've never experienced before. Since the story had introduced so many new things, I was struggling to keep up with the changes. I'm not that bright, so I had to reread a few times to sink it in. I also felt magic powers could have had a bit more consequence (cause and effect) element, so the impression of magic circles and so forth left a better impact to my mind. I sometimes felt magic was superficial that it didn't register as something important. The healing ability was a skill I remembered well, since this did have an effect to the caster. This is what I look for in magic systems, so this view is subjective. Overall, this is a brilliant, well-written story. Thanks for writing and sharing it.

As of writing this review, only twenty-one chapters have been posted. To be honest, I kind of regret picking this up. This is because... there's not enough chapters! It's too short! I can't wait! Uuuuuuuuuugh! First of all, the grammar and vocabulary used is high in quality. It is easy to read and very beautifully crafted. My imagination was very pleased throughout the whole experience. Also, bonus points because I like fantasy, huehue. The story is well-written, and the world-building is very in-depth. I could see the amount of attention and detail the author had placed in the plotting and planning of the world. I pretty much skimmed over some parts of it (like the part where the currency system was explained), but it's a necessary part of world-building, so I advise other potential readers to actually read them instead of skimming past them like I did (oops). I will, however, go back to re-read those parts in the future, though (probably). Reading this story, I was completely immersed as I moved from one chapter to the next. Imagine the sense of disorientation I felt when I reached the end of latest chapter. I literally, verbally, said, "What. That's... it?" out loud. Lucky I was alone in my room so no one was there to witness the crazy rambling of this one thirsty reader. This was why I was reluctant to start reading the story when I saw the double-digit number of chapters. -3- It really felt as if I was forcefully pulled out of the world and now I crave for more. It shows just how well-written the story is, in all of its mystical glory. That being said, I won't force the author to churn out more chapters than they could physically, emotionally, and mentally is capable of, though! As a fellow writer, I understand how draining it is to push out chapters after chapters. It takes a toll on your mind (and body, but mostly mind) and sometimes I wish the story would write/type itself out, grr. -3-/ All in all, it's a satisfying read and I don't really have any negative critique that I could think of right now, especially since the story has only barely begun. I have high hopes! Thank you for sharing this world with us readers~

I read your story and really liked it. TBH, the prolgue and first chapter were amazing. The way your character interacted with the new surroundings and the way you described the moss-stone was mind-blowing. The names of your character was very well thought out and made a lot of sense. Even after not being interested in fantasy genre, I still liked your story. Good job,Author!

The story is a good read. The writing is great and immersive. And even though there were a few glitches here and there, as an author myself, I have that problem too. The prologue was fine and in my opinion, they are supposed to be vague and have readers wondering.. But overall, a very good book! Well done.
