Yang Chún qiàn looked up to say something but when she saw that he had pointed the gun at her, she started sweating in fear. Her throat went dry and she felt as though she had no escape.

"Yang Xinyu, will you kill your own mother? What kind of a filial child are you? It seems your wife has made you as rowdy as she is? Well, what can you expect out of her lowly birth?" she said trying to buy time. She thought that she would be able to convince him by telling negative about his wife. Just to prove her wrong, he wouldn't shoot her.

"You would have been saved if Wu Lina would have been here. But unfortunately she isn't. So save those words," he said hatred emanating from his face.

"I had no intentions of murdering you, Yang Xinyu," she asserted again.
